Found (The Last Watcher Series) Book One
mom.” I told
her. Now feeling her pain of me leaving.
“ I’ll miss you too sweetie,
I love you. Be safe.” She said. Hugging me once more and sending me
off on my way. I wasn’t too happy to leave my house. This was my
home. I got used to it and in a way liked it better than the one we
lived in Massachusetts. It needed to be done though.
Tae and I walked back to his house, before we
went back in. tae stopped.
    “ What’s the matter Tae?” I
asked. He looked at me, took the bags out of my hand and slowly
came closer. He put me into his arms, and nothing else mattered
right now. I felt so safe in his strong arms that I didn’t want to
be anywhere else.
“ I love you Amabel.” He told
me. I looked up at him, sending the words back through my eyes. He
leaned in towards me, and kissed me passionately. “Get some more
rest. Tomorrow we will practice.” He said. I went inside the house,
and laid down comfortably on the bed. This was the first time my
mind wasn’t running with a thousand words. It was relaxed, as well
as I was. I could picture my first kiss with Kierce, and it was
nothing compared to what I had with Tae. He was so special to me, I
couldn’t bear to think I almost lost him. I wonder how I managed to
save his life. All I remember is losing him, and I started feeling
so much pain. It’s incredible thinking I did such a thing, I just
wish I knew how.

The next day came quick, and Tae was ready to
practice with me. I didn’t know how he was going to help me, but I
trusted him
“ You ready sleepy head?” He
said to me, seeing my eyes open.
    “ Ehh, yeah, I guess.” I told
him.
“ Well get up, get some food
in your stomach and lets go.”
    “ Where are we
going?”
“ Well we’re not going to
practice in the house. For all I know, you can destroy it with a
simple thought.” He said laughing.
“ Very funny, so where are we
going to do this anyways?”
    “ I’m just thinking a little
deeper into the woods, so no one hears or sees us. I know the
perfect place.” He said. I nodded and started getting out of bed.
Before I could fully get up, Tae came over to me and threw his arms
around me.
“ Amabel, you mean so much to
me. You have no idea. You are everything I have imagined as I
watched you grow up.” He said to me. I started feeling butterflies
in my stomach. It suddenly dropped and I felt my heartbeat get
faster. “Your heart liked my words.” He said. I looked up at him
smiling. “Thank you for being in my life.”
“ You’re not the one that
needs to thank me. You are everything to be Tae. Before you came
into my life, without you…. I felt… so alone. I felt something
missing and didn’t know what.”
    “ Amabel, you complete me.
You are my whole reason for living. I have never known anyone but
you and I never will. I don’t want another woman in my life. You
are my savor, and I hope one day you decide to bond with
me.”
    “ Tae, I wouldn’t want it any
other way, but you know I can’t just leave Kierce like that. It
will hurt him too much. Not that I’m with him, but I just want to
make everyone happy. I don’t want my parents worrying anymore and I
don’t want Kierce hurt from me or his father. I don’t want him
trying to help me and disobeying his father. Family is everything
to me and it must be to him. I don’t want to take that away from
him Tae.” I said starting to get tears in my eyes. I felt myself
want to break down but I knew I couldn’t. I had a lot coming and I
needed to get prepared, not cry on the side. “And you. I don’t want
to hurt you if I don’t choose to bond with you. I’m so afraid of
commitment. If I bond with you, and I lose in you some way. That
will be the end of me.”
“ No, you must not talk like
that Amabel. If you do not chose to bond with me, I will forever
love you. I will never leave your side. Don’t you worry about my
feelings when you have to worry about yours. Do what’s right for
you, not others.” He
