pressing against my pelvic bone.
I tugged with all my might and my hand broke free. Reaching behind me, I tried to release the attachment on the ball gag, but I’d never worked one before and my fingers couldn’t figure out how.
“Stop it!” I tried to say. “I love Dix!”
But there was no way Mason understood me. I could be crying out in ecstasy for all he knew.
As he switched to the other side of my plastic-encased neck, I had an idea. With my free hand, I reached around the plastic, between our bodies, and grabbed his hard penis.
He moaned. Not what I was going for, but at least I could control it and keep it from entering me.
    “What the fuck!”
Mason jerked to the side at the sound of his brother’s voice.
Dix stood, still and seething, his eyes locked on my hand grasping his brother’s cock.

    Chapter Nine

The room changed from still-photo to fast forward in a flash.
Dix pulled his brother off me and threw him against the wall. He paused and looked at me with disgust and confusion in his eyes.
He obviously didn’t understand what had happened here.
With my right hand, I worked frantically on the ties of my left wrist while thrashing and kicking to get my legs free.
Mason pushed himself up from the floor. He took two steps and smashed Dix in the face with his fist.
“No!” I had to stop them before they killed each other. My hands and one ankle were free, but the stupid gag was still in my mouth.
Dix didn’t stand right away. He looked up at his older brother accusingly. “You knew I wanted her!”
“You never said you wanted her,” Mason said defensively. “Besides…” He motioned toward me. “If she was willing to do this with me, do you really want her?”
Dixon looked at me angrily as he got up. I realized neither of these guys knew the whole truth about what had happened here.
I’d managed to free my legs. I reached behind my head, determined to get rid of the ball gag if I had to rip off my face in the process.
“You’re right,” Dix said. “She’s all yours.” He stalked away.
I jumped off the bed, tossing away the gag as I ran through the hall after him. When I found him, he was in the bedroom we’d shared the night before, stuffing his change of clothing into a duffle bag.
“Dix, we need to clear things up.” I grabbed the robe he’d lent me and shoved my arms into it.
“I don’t know how it could be any clearer. You were about to have sex with my brother.”
He picked up his bag and headed for the living room. I followed him.
“I wasn’t trying to have sex with him. You left me there, bound and gagged. He assumed—”
“So you’re saying you didn’t want him?”
    “No, I didn’t.”
He stopped suddenly and grabbed the back of my hair. Pain shot through my head as he forced my face up toward his.
“You were holding his dick!” He released me with such force I nearly fell backward.
“I got one hand free. I was trying to fend him off!”
“You’ve always been hot for him. You always did everything he said. But I let that go because he was your boss and I knew you’d been thrown into a weird situation. But I thought after last night…”
His beautiful blue eyes registered intense hurt and my heart broke to think he believed I didn’t want him.
“Last night meant everything to me… I’d do anything to prove to you how I feel.”
I watched as several emotions passed through his eyes. He still cared, but he was so angry. He didn’t trust our feelings for each other, just as I hadn’t trusted them at the restaurant.
    “Please, Dix.”
He dropped his bag and grabbed me. In a flash, he threw me over his shoulder.
He opened the front door, walked out, and deposited me in the passenger side of his truck.
The cab of the truck had been silent as we rode back into Houston.
Dix stared straight ahead at the road. His jaw ticked periodically and the iron grip he had on the steering wheel caused a vein to bulge in his
