Pushing Reset
do a lot of that,” he warned and Jude’s brain seized. Jude wasn’t sure what was going on but Brandon insisting that he wanted to suck Jude’s cock, a lot, couldn’t have actually happened. Not in any world that Jude recognized. He could barely feel his body as Brandon fixed Jude’s pants and claimed his lips for a tender, drugging kiss before rising to his feet. “Lay down and take a nap,” Brandon commanded and Jude could only nod and let his body slide and stretch along the sofa as he watched Brandon open the office door. “I’ll wake you up for lunch,” Brandon said softly as he went to his desk and took his seat. “You’re going to need to build up your energy,” he added and Jude was sure he was slipping into a dream world as he pulled a throw pillow beneath his head.

Chapter 18

Jude had another moment, right before Brandon opened his bedroom door. He raised his hand to knock and it shook as his brain second-guessed reality. None of it seemed possible. The forty-eight hours prior couldn’t have happened and Jude was sure that Brandon was going to open the door and look at him like he’d stapled a dead bird to his forehead.
“Come on in,” Brandon’s smile was warm and relaxed as he waved Jude in wearing nothing but his silk pajama pants. It took Jude a moment before his feet could carry him into the room and his hands were still shaking when he shut the door and locked it. “Give me a minute to finish this email,” Brandon said as he sat cross-legged in the middle of the bed with this laptop.
Jude nodded as he followed and crawled onto the bed and positioned himself behind Brandon. When his legs were resting outside of Brandon’s, Jude slid his hands around Brand’s waist and sighed happily as he rubbed his cheek against Brandon’s shoulder. He felt Brandon tense for a moment before his body relaxed against Jude’s.
“Is this alright?” Jude asked gently as his lips brushed over Brandon’s skin. Jude felt Brandon’s hand wrap around his thigh and the room became warmer.
“Yeah. It’s a little strange having someone this close but I like it.” His voice was a low, smooth rumble and it settled in Jude’s balls and made them throb.
Jude’s hands splayed and pressed against Brandon’s chest as he molded his body to Brandon’s back. It was almost too much. Being allowed to touch so much of Brandon’s bare skin and hold him so close was something Jude had never even fantasized about, it was so unfathomable. If Brandon hadn’t felt so solid and his skin so warm, Jude would have been certain he was dreaming. He heard the click of the laptop closing and Brandon leaned across the bed and set it on the bedside table. Then, he relaxed against Jude’s chest and let his head fall back on Jude’s shoulder. Jude hummed happily as his lips slid up Brandon’s neck.
“I never thought I’d be able to hold you like this,” he whispered when his lips found Brandon’s ear. Brandon chuckled and shook his head.
“It seemed even less possible in my mind until recently,” Brandon murmured as his hands covered Jude’s. Jude laughed softly as he nibbled Brandon’s earlobe. Brandon groaned and his hands guided Jude’s lower. “I thought I was losing my mind, Jude,” he whispered and Jude couldn’t help but smile.
“I know the feeling,” he said as his hands slid down Brandon’s stomach. Brandon hissed and his hips jumped when Jude’s hand glided over Brandon’s silk covered erection.
“I’m serious.” His voice was thin and gravelly. “One day you were the same as you’d always been and the next, I was noticing things like your back muscles and your lips. I couldn’t eat, I’d get so hung up on your lips,” Brandon admitted and Jude’s head snapped back as he put the pieces together.
“The lip reading!” He gasped and Brandon nodded.
“Yeah. My brain was so completely useless, that was the best I could come up with,” Brandon explained and Jude bit his lip
