still laughing.
"No," I groaned, trying to snuggle into the mattress.
"It's our last day here. Let's stay in bed."
He nipped his teeth into the flesh of my ass again, then licked me. "You're insatiable."

I lifted my ass for him, hoping he'd lick me again.
But he didn't. He slapped me, right on my backside. "Get this beautiful piece of ass out of bed," he said with a laugh, rolling off the mattress.
I groaned, rubbing my ass. "Is that all I am to you…
    a piece of ass?"
I meant it as a joke, but Kira certainly didn't smile.
He looked a little startled, and a little offended. He shook his head and whispered, "No…"
I smiled at him, trying to put the humor back into the conversation, got up and stretched. "I'll go running," I told him, walking to the stairs. "But only because it's with you."
When I looked back at him as I trudged up the
stairs, I saw the slow smile spread across his face. He was still smiling when I came back downstairs, only this time he grinned at me from under my Lakers cap.
    I mean his Lakers cap…
"Nice hat," I deadpanned as we headed out the door.
"You like it?" he asked with a grin. "I just got it yesterday."
I rolled my eyes at him, and started out running ahead of him. He caught up easily, and we ran in a comfortable silence, just the sounds of our footfalls as we

took the now familiar track. I might have complained about it, but I could see the allure—the fresh air, the forest.
"I can see why you enjoy it," I told him as we neared the end of the track. He looked at me questioningly, so I explained, "Running through the National Park. It's pretty."
"It is," he agreed. "But that's not why."
I stopped running and tried not to appear so out of breath. "Then why?"
"Because we can do this, we can run together here.
Out in the open," he said with a shrug. "It's not like we can be seen together at home."
    Oh.
"Oh." It was about all I could say. "I'm sorry, I…"
"Hey," he said with a smile, stepping in front of me.
"It's just the way it is, for both of us, not just you." He put his fingertips under my chin and lifted my face. "And I could never do this at home," he said as he kissed me softly on the lips.
He smiled and rubbed his thumb along my chin. He looked into my eyes as though he wanted to say something else, but he didn't.
"What is it?" I prompted him.
He shook his head and huffed with a smile.
    "Nothing."

We grabbed coffee and walked back to the house.
He was quiet, not sullen, but more reflective. He wasn't his usual smiling, laughing, smartass self. I asked him what was wrong, but he dismissed me, telling me everything was great.
I tried not to let it bother me, because it was kind of obvious something wasn't right, but I figured he'd tell me when he was ready.
We showered together and gave mutual, soapy hand jobs. His orgasm beckoned my own, and with the water streaming over both us, Kira kept his forehead on mine. His eyes were deep and dark, and I wondered what he saw when he looked at me. Because he stared at me, his eyes drilled into mine and his mouth opened like he was trying to say something, but his eyes closed and he kissed me instead.
It was a different kind of kiss, deep and consuming.
His fingers threaded through my hair, around my neck, my jaw. He was devouring me with his lips, his tongue, and his holding-too-tight hands, and my just-spent cock throbbed and twitched against his.
He broke the kiss so he could smile. He looked down to my dick. "You are insatiable."
The seriousness of the moment was over and I
    chuckled. "It's your fault."

I turned the water off, and he handed me a towel, declaring it was time for food. After we were dressed, I stood next to him in the kitchen, and we talked while he made us an early lunch.
"I don't want to leave," I admitted. "I thought I would have some wilderness
