I don’t care. “I’m on birth control,” I pant.
I guess that settled that because he’s frantic trying to unbutton my jeans, pulling them down off my legs along with my black lacy thong I’m grateful I wore today. I fumble with his belt slowing me down for only split seconds before I get his pants undone. He somehow gets out of them without leaving the ground freeing his erection. He made that look effortless. His dark elated eyes study the naked panting puddle of goo that lies before him, my eyes locked onto his. I’m a nervous wreck feeling a bit vulnerable and wickedly self-conscious that my boobs are now in my arm pits thanks to the force of gravity.
His eyes find me lost in desire and he lowers himself down to me, placing his erection across my clit. He begins rocking sending pulses of pleasure through my body. His lips meet mine as his fingers run down to the slickness between my legs. If he was in question whether I was ready for him, he just got his answer. He pushes his dick into me slowly allowing for me to adjust to his size. Once fully into me he leans down, rapidly breathing next to my ear, his heart pounding in his chest against mine. My hips involuntarily begin to thrust and his pace begins to pick up, filling me, emptying me, moving in and out sliding just right against every nerve inside.
“I’m a lucky man,” he sighs lifting himself up so he’s able to watch my expression. His eyes are full of thirst begging for my release, his thrust becoming deeper giving my body exactly what it needs.
“Oh my God!” I yell out throwing my head back, grabbing the earth beside us as the walls of my sex clamp down on him. The earth shatters around me. My eyes roll back. My body becomes rigid.
His eyelids are heavy, breath is ragged as his movements become jerky. He thrust deeply inside of me, growling at his own release as he drops to his elbows. He places soft kisses under my ear while we lay there trying to catch our breaths from the freaking mind blowing sex we just experienced. The intimacy we’re sharing between us begins to tug at me again, the feeling is almost claustrophobic. Thankfully, he stirs and shuffles to his elbows, a warming smile adding to the pull.
“How do you do this to me?”
If he only knew what the hell he’s doing to me! “I could ask you the same question. Wow.”
I wince when he slides out. Instantly I feel empty, and I miss him being inside of me, on top of me, breathing passion in my ear. He drops to his back with an arm over his eyes, placing his other hand on my hip, “That was phenomenal.”
“I concur.” I manage in complete ecstasy.

Chapter 17

I’ve found my favorite spot of his house—the black wooden swing on the front porch. Tanner’s place is definitely away from the city. There are no roads in sight, no noise to even implicate one is close by. It’s silent other than nature’s music of birds chirping and crickets stringing their music. The massive tree line around his property blocks out everything city and gives it the serene country setting. I could really get used to being here.
“This place is beautiful, Tanner. It’s so serene, so not city.”
The corners of his lips curl up. “Yeah, I like it out here away from the hustle and bustle of the city,” he says still tracing his fingers across my shoulder and down my arms.
We sit silently, lost in our own thoughts when I remember the notes in my purse. “Oh! I have something I need you to take a look at.” I jump up, jogging to my car and grab my purse “Do you remember the letter on my car, the one you said must’ve been mistaken identity? Well, I don’t think it was.”
I hand him the envelopes. One by one he opens them, his jaw muscles tightening as he reads them. If he thinks this pisses him off, he should be the one receiving these things.
His eyes dart to me. “Do you have any idea who this could be?”
    “No.”
He raises the notes. “Is this all you’ve
