turned on by a single thing Onyx said, I couldn’t even imagine what would happen when he touched me.
A chill ran up my spine at the thought. My leg swung over the bike. It was time to stop screwing around and put out the fire that burned every inch of my body from the first moment we met. Onyx followed, pulled the helmet from my head , and placed a swift kiss to my lips.
“Last chance to back out, love.” The daring gleam in his eyes was a temptation, a challenge, and I would be a fool to back away.
Looking him square in the eye I responded. “I’m not going anywhere.”
A wide smile flashed those white teeth in a way that reminded me of the Big Bad Wolf. Those sharp teeth , and that hungry look in his eyes was downright entrancing. The point of Little Red's story was to show young girls that when you completely fuck up everything because of your innate stupidity, there was a white knight that would ride in to protect you. The hunter was the hero, the savior, and it was the type of man little girls dreamed would someday ride in to rescue them.
Not me. I was never looking for someone to save me. It was the wicked, powerful, mesmerizing presence of the dark soul that made me swoon. That undeniable control that even made Little Red forget all reason when the wolf simply opened his mouth. I didn’t want the perfect gentleman. I wanted the man that could make me feel strong, in control, and completely out of control with a single touch. I wasn't looking for the man that tossed me behind him while he experienced life and adventure. I wanted the one that would push me, tempt me, teach me, and dominate me because he was man enough to allow me to do the same.
That man didn't exist. At least, that was what I believed. Every minute spent with Onyx was showing me that maybe all men weren't worthless after all.
    "Follow me, love."
Onyx walked past me, leaving the little bike garage, locking it up tight behind me. I crossed my arms over my chest for just long enough to remember that anytime a person did that they were displaying their insecurities for all to see. I refused to look like the weak little girl. Innocent. Timid. Al l things I'm not. Despite my best attempts to brush off the simple gesture, it seemed Onyx caught it. With a smirk he wrapped his arm around my shoulder, and pulled me against his side as we walked toward our destination.
As my heart pounded to the beat of a drummer's solo, radiati ng from my knees into my throat. I tried to distract myself from whatever was coming next. I didn't recognize where we were, and I had spaced out the entire ride over. All I saw was a row of buildings a couple stories high on the opposite side of the street from where we were. The slight instinctual warning at the back of my mind told me I probably should have paid closer attention on the ride here. Then at least I could have managed to find my way out, or give directions to the police if Onyx decided to keep me hostage.
Although, any of those worries were extinguished almost immediately after. Something made me believe that if Onyx wanted to keep me here as his prisoner, with chains , and cuffs that no part of me object.
The front of the brick building showed that not a single light was lit in the entire place. No signs were visible anywhere I looked to at least give me a damn clue as to where we were. But even after Onyx unlocked the door and held it open, I never hesitated as I crossed the threshold into unknown territory.
As light from the street lamps illuminated a bit of the room I saw a wide open space. The floor was concrete, the walls bare, and in a few places a white sheet covered whatever stood beneath it.
"Is this where you intend to murder me?" I asked as he shut and locked the door behind me.
Onyx burst into a thick rich laughter that almost had me smiling back.
"If I intended to murder you, I would have at least put some plastic down. Even a drop of blood on a floor like this would stain it."
