determined, but terrified of something at the same time.
    “Move in.”
“What?” My hands freeze at the waistband of my jogging bottoms and I anxiously wait for Rafe to say more.
“You need to find a place, I have room. You say this is like home anyway and I’d get to see you more. You can have your own room if you want, if you think it’s crazy to move properly in together so soon, but hotels should be reserved for working away and dirty weekends. Move in.”
I mull it over for about thirty seconds before breaking out into the biggest grin,
“Are you serious? Have you thought this through?” My heart is beating ten to the dozen at the prospect of sharing a home with Rafe. He laughs,
“No, not at all,” He crawls forwards and kneels at the end of the bed so that we’re eye to eye, “But I love you, and I’ve no doubt that you’re the person that I want to be with. So let’s do it!”
I take a deep breath and revel in the sight of the man in front of me,
“How can I say no? Yes, I’ll move in.”
Rafe smiles and takes my face into his hands, pulling me into a kiss and then down onto the bed. We lie side by side and I pull away from our kiss,
“There’s no chance that we’re having separate rooms!”

I gave Rafe my hotel key and credit card so that he could go straight to the hotel to get my things and pay the outstanding bill after dropping me at the airport. It may be crazy and far too soon but nothing has ever felt so right.
When I get back into London tomorrow I’ll be going home, to the flat that I share with my amazing boyfriend and I can’t wait.
Neither of us has ever lived with anyone other than our families, so I imagine it’ll be a steep learning curve but we’ll make it work. We’re already pretty serious anyway so this is just a natural progression.
We’ve promised to always be completely honest with each other about how we feel, even when we’re worried that it might upset the other one, and so far that’s going really well. We have a great sex life and my attraction to him isn’t waning at all, I know he feels the same about me.
We’re going up to Buxton at the weekend to see his parents. We haven’t had the chance yet for me to officially meet them as Rafe’s boyfriend instead of Michael’s brother, and I know it’s really important for him that we get on. I’m sure we will, I’m just not going to worry about it, one more night away and then I’ll be back with my man and nothing else matters.
“Hi, can I get you a drink?”
I’m brought out of my daydream by the pretty blonde that’s taken a seat next to me.
“Oh, I’m ok actually thanks, I’m just on my way to bed.” I smile politely and stand.
“Maybe I can join you then.” She smiles and reaches out, touching my arm. It’s not like this has never happened before. I stay in a lot of hotels and get propositioned by lonely men and women all the time but this time, it feels wrong.
“Oh, sweetheart I’m going to say no, for a lot of reasons. Firstly, you’re a beautiful young woman and too good to be propositioning men in hotel bars and secondly, I’m gay and head over heels in love with my boyfriend. So I’m sorry but I’m not interested.”
The girl looks at me and to my surprise bursts into tears.
“Oh god, I’m sorry. I didn’t mean to upset you.”  I sit again and reach for a napkin to pass to her.
“No, you didn’t it’s me. I’m an idiot.” She dabs at her eyes and I signal to the barman for another round, “You’re gorgeous, but I don’t want to sleep with you. I just don’t know what to do. I just walked in on my fiancé and my best friend having sex and I wanted revenge.”
“Oh, well I get that. If he’s the kind of guy that cheats on you though, he doesn’t deserve the effort it takes to exact revenge. And your best friend, well she’s no friend at all. Have a drink with me.”
“My best friend is a he, but thanks. I thought you were going to bed.” She
