Hot In Here (Ashton Heights Fire # 3)
Leo and Blair. If she fell for either one of
them, or both, she was only going to wind up hurt. Common sense
told her she ought to escape right now. If she told them honestly
she didn’t want to be here, they’d take her home.
    The thing was, she
honestly did want
to be here. So much so her body was drawn as tight as a string as
Blair guided her out of the car. His sure touch on her arm made her
flesh tingle, and the remembered deliciousness of his fingers on
her nipples and clit still had her pulse thudding thickly through
her veins.
So that took her back to where she started.
The only way to get what she wanted tonight was to lie or make one
of them lose control and take her like the animal he really was.
She’d prefer not to lie, so she figured the latter was her only
choice. And that Leo, the nice guy who seemed to have a genuine
soft spot for her, was her best chance.
Ally sidled up to him as he alighted from
the car. “That’s hot,” she said.
He looked at her askance. “What is?”
“ The bike. I like the idea
of something that big throbbing between my legs.”
He responded to her throaty innuendo with an
amused quirk of his lips, but Ally could see the way his green eyes
flared in the dim illumination of the carport light. “Do you,
now?”
“ Yes.” Ally ran her tongue
over her lips slowly. “Kiss me, Leo.”
He groaned softly and swayed forward, his
gaze on her mouth. Before he could make contact, Blair tugged on
Ally’s arm. “Not here. Inside.”
    The spell broken, Leo
turned and led the way up the stairs. Okay, so it’s not going to be that easy , Ally thought. She could still turn things around.
    Inside, Leo went to a
bedroom, where he turned on a single light. The lamp cast an amber
glow over the room. Ally realized it wasn’t the same bedroom as
last time. That had been Leo’s. This one was Blair’s. The bed had a
large timber frame and was neatly made. There was a full, but not
overflowing, bookcase against one wall and a large window covered
by heavy blue drapes.
    “ Straight to the bedroom,
huh?” Ally quipped. “You should really offer a girl a drink
first.”
Leo smiled and touched her face. “Are you
thirsty?”
“ Only for that kiss,” Ally
replied and stood on tip toes to offer her mouth.
    This time, he didn’t
disappoint her. Leo slanted his lips over hers, brushing them back
and forth in a sensual teasing motion that had her parting hers
immediately. He swept his tongue inside her mouth briefly, before
he pulled back and nibbled lightly at her lower lip.
The man knew how to kiss. The gentle way he
explored her turned Ally on as much as Blair’s peremptory grasping
of her breasts had in the car. Blair had fired her up, and now Leo
was making sure she melted. They were one hell of a dangerous
combination.
    Just when she was falling,
falling into the kiss and half-drowning, Leo pulled back with a
sigh. “God, baby. Your lips are so sweet.”
Ally pouted the lips in question. “So don’t
stop kissing them.”
    “ I have to, or I’ll lose
control and take you right now.”
    Ally merely smiled. “Okay.”
Behind her, Blair laughed. When he put his
hands on her hips and pulled her against him, his body heat
penetrated her cotton blouse and skirt. “I think that’s what she’s
going for, Chats.”
Leo quirked a brow at her, letting his
silence be a question. Ally sighed. “You got me here, didn’t you? I
admit it, I want you both again. I tried to avoid you tonight
because I didn’t want to look desperate, but since you want me
too…why don’t we get this show on the road?”
Leo appeared bemused. “What a romantic
suggestion, Ally.”
    “ You want
romance?”
    She’d asked with a tone
that let him know how ridiculous she thought that was, but Leo
didn’t laugh. In fact, his handsome face turned serious. “Maybe. I
know I want to see you naked.”
Ally was so stunned by his
heartfelt maybe that she didn’t move, not until Blair placed one hand on
