Hidden Pleasures #5: Teased
easily, and she hated to see him like this.
Instead of the usual toe-curling open mouthed kiss, he cupped her cheek and gave her a firm, but quick kiss on the cheek.
“I don't want to mess up your lip gloss. Although I’d love to see it on my cock.” He spun and strode away, calling back over his shoulder, “I'll see you tonight.”
“Okay. Love you.” Bereft and depressed, though she wasn't exactly sure why, his answering “love you too” only registered with her sub conscious. The kiss bordered on a brush off instead of an expression of affection.
Maybe she should have gotten in his face again about the whole spread eagled and fucked too hard incident after all.
God, she needed girl advice. Maybe she'd manage to pin Shea down for at least a quick phone call while it was slow at work. Even though Shea wasn't in a relationship with anyone right now, her roommate’s familiarity with BDSM play would remove prejudice that the basic relationship was weird.
Things were strained with Shea right now. Ronnie spent more and more time with Gavin and Luis, and less and less time at the apartment the two women shared. The bills got paid and stuff, but she spent four or five nights a week at the guys' house. If Shea had a boyfriend of her own, maybe things would be easier.
Crap, if Shea wasn’t a total needy whiner, things would be easier too. Hanging out at the guys’ house was a ton better than being at home. Her roomie’s jealously infiltrated everything, and she was sick of the constant sarcasm and barbed comments. Why couldn’t they hang out and eat ice cream like they used to?
Maybe she shouldn’t call Shea after all.
She tucked all her make-up back into the bag and wandered into Gavin's bedroom to find her purse. Luis's room was a disaster, so she tended to keep all her things with Gavin's. Neither man seemed to mind; Luis was a self-professed slob.
Some of the messes Luis perpetuated could be attributed to his crazy work ethic. Not even her father put in the kind of time Luis did. She slept in his room sometimes, but more often than not he worked so late she curled up next to Gavin. They had fallen asleep in the play room one night all heaped together. The huge bed in that room could hold six or seven people.
She wished they could all sleep together more often. Waking up sandwiched between both men gave her a feeling of safety and comfort she’d never gotten anywhere else.
The rattle of dishes and clanking cookware emanated from the kitchen. She had time before she had to leave for work, might as well see what Luis was up to.
Hopefully he wasn’t being a total asshole like Gavin.
Ugh. Not fair. She knew who her boyfriends were. Controlling, dominant alpha males. Of course they wanted her to move in. Of course they wanted to pay for everything for her. And of course, they thought they knew what was best. Older by about six years each, successful millionaires with their own businesses, and they’d grown up hard, getting their street smarts early.
On the other hand, she had ridden Daddy’s checkbook through her undergrad degree and an exclusive all girls private school from kindergarten on up. Venturing out to live with Shea had been her first foray into independence.
Her father cut her off not long afterward. He’d had her take out student loans in her own name to help build her credit, and then when she didn’t make a move toward law school, he stopped paying them.
    The jerk.
Not that he had to pay for her school. But he’d said he would. He’d promised. The whole thing was his calculated way of trying to get her back under his thumb.
Was she equating her dad’s games to her Doms’? Maybe a little bit. Argh, why did men have to be so difficult?
The scents of breakfast foods wafted through the air, and her stomach growled. She padded down the hard wood floored hall way and into the kitchen. Luis stood at the stove with a wooden spoon in one hand, wearing a pair of boxers and white socks. His
