her mind a little more and Marshall and Bane could hear the women of the Denver Pack talking with each other.
‘ This is weird ,’ Cami said and laughed. ‘ Hey, Fredi, can you feel us and what were are feeling, like Jo ?’
‘ No, I can feel your memories, like things that have happened to you, but it is what you are showing me, like right now, Jo is holding Cassandra and she is playing with her hair. Cloe is in the infirmary with a patient who is very sick, she is worried he is not going to make it, ’ Fredi murmured.
‘ Hey, cool, at least you don’t feel the pain when someone else does, that sucks,’ Jo said.
‘ Why did we feel that pain though ?’ Bane said. ‘ I mean it hurt, the torture and the freaky man who was doin' it ?’
‘ Sorry ,’ Jordan said and sighed. ‘ I was putting the conversation with Mia in the files, I was reading what Roarke did to her. It was a bit disturbing and graphic. She explained what she was feeling; you had to just be responding to her words .’
‘ Okay, well can we stop for now until I can figure out how to block you ?’ Marshall said dryly. ‘ Or I am going to have to leave here and kick some serious ass, ‘cause that was just wrong !’
‘ I agree, was that Roarke we were looking at ?’ Bane asked softly.
‘ Yeah, enough of the sick flashes for now. Killing him seems to be a really good idea about right now. Focus on something else, until we can talk to Orfeo. Besides, Cami is starting to freak me out a little with the shit she is planning to do to Roarke when she finds him. No matter that I want to kill him, thinking of cutting off a man’s dick is something I don’t want to think about,’ said Marshall.
‘ Pussy, you know you want to be in the mind of a wolf, you should be so lucky to think like us ,’ Cami said.
    ‘ Hey ,’ Marshall said.
‘Yeah, yeah, just wait until we have a girls’ night, hey, Fredi, you can come with us, how fun.’ Kira laughed.
‘ Shit ,’ Bane said and groaned, he had heard about the infamous girls' night out. It didn’t sound good for any of the men.
‘Hey, are you sure you can’t get Cat and Jax?’ Lacy asked.
‘ We haven’t pledged to the Senate. We have only done that to the New Council, remember, ’ Fredi said.
‘Well snap it up, we have a girls' night out to plan, and trust me, you don’t want to miss this,’ Shea laughed.
‘ Damn it, wake up, ’ Marshall said desperately, not wanting to allow the women to plan shit.

When Marshall opened his eyes, his beautiful mate was staring at him with a smile on her face. “That was cool.”
“ Not for us, we didn’t get to hear anything,” Cat said and stomped her foot. “I totally want to have a long distance girls' night out.”
“ Yeah, fifteen women drunk off their asses communicating in all our heads, ohhh, can’t wait,” Tripp drawled and rolled his eyes.
“ We need to make sure Mia is safe and on her way,” Bane said, standing up and frowning. “She is going to need all of us to help her through that. Damn, those memories were wicked.”
Fredi agreed and looked at Orfeo, “My gift will help us coordinate better, especially if there is a battle.”
“ We need to have the ceremony, until then we are all vulnerable” Orfeo reminded her and turned to Jax. “Have you seen any more?”
“ Not yet, but I have a feeling if Kira and I can link through Fredi, we are in a whole new ballgame.” Jax grinned and said, “Self-defense class, ladies.”
Fredi and Cat groaned but got up.

    Chapter Ten

Orfeo ended the call he was on and turned to look at Tripp. "Mia is safe and seems to be recovering well. Striker met her plane in London and took her to his clan in Cornwall to recover. It seems she has been through an ordeal with Roarke. Striker says they will arrive at the end of the month, she has much to tell us."
"Good, I'm glad we could find her somewhere safe to recover. After the attack on us, I was concerned Roarke would
