her clothes. They quickly dressed and made their way back to where the party had been.
â€œWait! My crown.” Ayana ran as fast as the sand would allow and picked up the golden symbol of her victory. A victory in more than one way—not only had she won the contest, but she’d also won over Brandon. A broad smile spread across her face as she raced back to him.
    â€œAre you hungry?” he asked.
    â€œYes. I’m starving!”
â€œI know a great little café not too far from here that serves the best breakfast.”
â€œSounds good.” Ayana wanted to go home first so she could shower and change clothes, but she didn’t want to break the momentum. The morning had started off on a good note and she planned on keeping it that way.
â€œDo you need to...?” He was going to ask if she had to call home before going out, but he caught himself. Brandon didn’t want to ruin the day like last time, so he kept his mouth shut.
    â€œWhat did you say?”
â€œUh, I was going to ask if you needed to shower before we have breakfast. If so, we can go back to my place if you want.”
â€œYes, that sounds good,” she said, brushing sand from her arms.
â€œI drove if you need a ride,” he offered.
â€œI drove too. I’ll follow you.”
    â€œOkay.”
Brandon led the way to the parking lot, where only five cars remained. He walked Ayana to her car, then returned to his rented Fiat, got in and drove off. The ride back to the bungalow was short. He bypassed the main house, where Marigold lived, and pulled around back to the bungalow. He got out, went to Ayana’s car, opened the door and helped her out.
Ayana looked around the quiet bungalow. A part of her wondered if Brandon brought other women here. He was such an attractive man who could easily be a player, even though he didn’t seem like the type. She casually scanned the room for any evidence of another woman but didn’t see anything out of the ordinary. Stop being paranoid. Obviously he’s into you. Ayana didn’t know where these feelings of paranoia were coming from. Probably from the fact that they were bonding really well and she didn’t want someone else infringing on her territory.
â€œYou want to shower together?” she asked, walking up close and rubbing her chest against his. Even though they had just made love on the beach less than thirty minutes ago, she was ready for more. Ayana wanted to make sure she was the only woman he craved.
â€œHmm, that’s a brilliant idea.” He lifted her arms over her head and removed her shirt, then leaned down and nibbled on her nipples. “Come on. I’m feeling really dirty,” he said, arching his eyebrows.
Ayana took off her shorts and followed him to the bathroom. The previous time she had been there, she had showered in record time, anxious to go home after their disagreement. This morning was completely different. The last thing she wanted was to make a hasty exit.
Brandon turned on the water and then removed his trunks. He stepped in first, the pulsating water beating down on his back as he helped her in. “Turn around.”
Ayana moved so that her chest was facing the shower wall. She lifted her arms and put her hands against the pink tiles, slightly spread her legs and waited in heated anticipation for his next move.
Brandon stood and watched as the water dripped down her back and eased between the crack of her butt. “I wish I were that water,” he whispered in her ear.
She turned her head over her shoulder and said, “What do you mean?”
He stared intently at her rear end, admiring the view. “If I were the shower water, I would be dripping all over your body, exploring your hidden treasures.”
â€œYou don’t have to be water to drip all over me and explore my treasures.” She reached for his hand and placed it on her round ass.
    Brandon palmed her butt
