and quickly kissed her. “Let’s dry off and I am going to take you out to lunch. How about the Irish pub in town?”

“I just had Irish for breakfast.”

Jude gave Miranda a crack on the ass and she yelped.

“Sassy brat ! Get dressed! They make the best Reuben around and the lager is fantastic.”

Jude looked at Miranda and laughed out loud.  There she stood, pouting.  Her bottom lip was stuck out as far as it could go and Miranda stuck her tongue out, mocking him.  Jude raised his eyebrows and tipped his head.

“Oh, we want to play, do we? Get in that bedroom now, woman!”

Jude lunged at her and Miranda squealed, running to the bedroom. She threw herself on the bed. Jude leapt on top of her and pinned her tightly, with no relief no matter how much Miranda squirmed.

“Miranda, I would do anything to hear that laugh every day. You truly are the only woman for me. Damn, I love you,” Jude proclaimed as he kissed her softly. He let her up off the bed.

“I love you too, Jude. Are you sure I can’t have more sausage for lunch?” Miranda teased, as she looked in her closet for clothes. Jude picked up a pillow and threw it her, hitting her squarely in the head. Miranda laughed and threw it back at him.  Turning back to the closet, she smiled to herself.

His woman…she liked the sound of that.

Chapter 20

Lunch at the Irish Pub was fantastic.  The food and drink was everything Jude had promised.  The place was full and the lunch crowd kept the waitresses hopping.  Jude and Miranda were in no hurry, so the delayed seeediewas everytrvice gave them time to talk.

“What do we do next, Jude?” Miranda asked, in a low tone.

    “Order dessert?”

“I’m serious, Jude.  What do we do with these damn tapes?  I don’t think I can listen to them.”  Miranda’s voice trailed off and a tear ran down her cheek.

“Mandy, I’m sorry.  I was trying to lighten the mood.  You don’t have to watch or listen to any more of them.  Ross and I can handle it.  If anything of importance comes up that you should know, I will tell you, ok?  Until then, let’s enjoy the day!  What would you like to do?”

Miranda took a deep breath.  She knew exactly what she wanted to do. She looked at Jude and he could see the twinkle in her eyes.  She reached across the table and stroked Jude’s hand.

“If you lean over here, big boy, I will whisper it in your ear.”

Miranda licked her lips seductively and never broke eye contact while Jude leaned in close.  She playfully licked his earlobe and blew in his ear.

“Jesus, Miranda…for fuck’s sake, you’re driving me crazy!  Tell me and we will get out of here and I will ravage you, you little brat!”  Miranda giggled coyly and nipped his earlobe.

    “I want…you and me…to work up a good sweat…jogging.”

Jude’s eyes grew large as he leaned back in his chair.  Miranda looked at him with a big grin on her face, trying not to laugh.  Jude shook his head and started to laugh.

“You are going to pay…oh you will pay big, too.  You’re on, sweetheart!  I am going to make you sweat like never before.”

“I haven’t gotten a new treadmill for the house and I need to run.  It is such a good stress reliever for me. I sure would like to get a run in before it rains.”

“It is already raining , my dear - take a look outside.  But…I can fix that too.  I have a home gym in my basement.  We can stop and pick up your workout clothes and head to my place.  Oh, you are soooo going to pay for teasing me.”

Miranda looked around Jude’s basement. There was a nice variety of equipment - treadmills, weight bench, and rowing machine. Everything looked high quality.  It was no
