took only seconds for Jason to reach the street behind Danielle's home and spot the
Jetta. “There he is man, let's do this.”
Ja son pulled his Dodge Ram directly in front of Ethan's beat up Jetta. They caught him off guard when both men got out of the truck and walked over to either window. Banging on the driver’s side window with his knuckles, Mitch motioned for Ethan to roll down the window.
Ethan sheepishly rolled down the window, the stench of fast food and body odor wafted through the cracked window.
“Hey I know you guys,” Ethan tried to act surprised.
“You want to roll down the window some more Ethan?”
“Oh I'm sorry, that's as far as it'll go Mitch sorry,” he said with a childlike smirk.
“Then get out of the car Ethan, we need to have a talk,” said Jason as he stared into the passenger side window.
“No can do, I was just about to go home.”
“Oh yeah? What are you doing here Ethan?”
“I have a friend in the neighborhood?”
    “Yeah? Who?”
“Oh I doubt you know him.”
    “Try me, what’s his name?”
“Oh no, you don't know him,” Ethan shook his head.
“Look Ethan I'm gonna cut to the chase here, since you’re too chicken shit to get out of the car, my buddy and I want to let you know that we know it was you who broke into Danielle's place here and stole her things you sick fuck.”
“And that woman that was with Danielle the day you followed them at the mall asshole? That’s m y girlfriend.” Their words converging onto Ethan in a heap.
See what we need you to do Ethan is this, turn on your car, drive yourself the fuck home, take a fucking bath you stinking piece of shit and stop harassing and stalking Danielle and Shayla.”
    “You hear me Ethan?”
    “Do you understand that Ethan?”
“Mitch, I don't know what you’re talking about.”
“You know, for a big guy you’re not too smart are you Ethan?” Mitch taunted.
Gripping the door handle Ethan began to shiver with rage. Mitch and Jason mistook it as fear.
“You see what you’re feeling right now Ethan is fear, and you should be scared because if you don’t leave those two ladies alone, we're coming back for you Ethan except the next time, you won't see or hear us coming, you'll just disappear.”
As Mitch brandished his .45, he stared at Ethan so intently, that Ethan did not question anything that he was saying.
    “Nod if you understand Ethan.”
Ethan nodding, rolled up his window, started his car and drove away.
“You think we scared him enough?”   Jason asked Mitch.
“I don't know buddy, but I'll tell you one thing, there was a moment there that I thought about pulling the trigger and blowing his fucking head off.”
Ethan couldn’t help but try and conceal his anger. Had Danielle known that they would come after him? How dare they threaten me like that! Danielle would have never allowed him to threaten me like that. Oh they'll pay; they'll pay dearly, thought Ethan as he slowly drove home.
Once Jason and Mitch got back to his truck, the two said goodbye, wav ed to Mr. Peterson who was looking out the window and drove home.
“Where did you go?” asked Shayla as Jason walked in the door.
“Oh, just had a client with a clogged pipe.”
“Oh, you had me worried; I thought maybe you were sneaking out to go see another woman.” Shayla said, not sure of her own words.
“Shayla, are you serious? Jason asked surprised by her response.
“Shay, you’re the only girl for me, I love you. Now stop being silly,” he said holding her close and kissing her, “Now what’s say we skip dinner and go upstairs for desert? I want you now Shay.”
“Well, who am I to argue with that?” She giggled with delight.
Jason made love to Shay causing her to forget any and all notions of him cheating on her.
Aft er taking a hot shower, Danielle headed back downstairs. She had changed into a pair of Mitch's sweat pants and a tank that she had worn underneath her tee. Not having any other
