About the Cover Artist
    Born in 1964, Julian Flynn was brought up in England and in the Languedoc region of France. He started photographing inspired by the work of such photographers as Sally Mann, Eugene Atget and Bill Brandt. He works in black and white and utilises a variety of formats. He has produced exhibitions and bodies of work exploring the self-portrait, portraits and urban landscapes. He currently lives in France and is exploring the theme of 'the Road'.
