right size for us. It was one big main room with a wood stove, a small kitchenette, and a living area. It was closer to the Lodge then the last cabin we'd had.
There was a bedroom and bathroom off to the right, plus a loft for guests. Great! Jo could stay over and have the loft anytime she wanted.
We could eat up at the Lodge and hang out there, but I didn't mind cooking and would gladly do so for Veiko. I felt more in control of life then ever before. I put my personal belongings around the cabin making it even nicer. We had a home finally.
Elena and V were still teaching me my role as the vice president's old lady, along with when to keep my mouth shut. Elena had been a big help, telling me to ignore the sluts V had been with because I was his old lady now. They didn't mean anything to him.
I wasn't stupid, though. I knew he had some sort of sex with most of them. He had said, although I wasn't entirely sure, that he mainly let them blow him. V seemed to be straight up about what he'd done and he, too, told me to avoid those bitches. Especially Roxy, who thought she had a claim on him. He said she was crazy.
Since V wasn't around, I decided I would unpack more. Then, when I was finished, I’d wander the beach looking for driftwood until I could hear his bike come rumbling home.

    ~ ☠ ☠ ☠ CHAPTER 12 ☠ ☠ ☠ ~

At a clubhouse in North Carolina, Rabid was able to give Thrash a few minutes of his time. Thrash had said he needed a sit down and he was sure it was about going home to New Jersey.
He really liked Thrash, He was loyal, his brother had made vice president, and he trusted him. They hugged each other and sat down to talk.
Thrash started, "Prez, I really need to get to Jersey. My ma is bugging me, I’ve got one artist stealing from me, and V is hooked up with an old lady."
"Veiko is hooked up? Interesting. Any bitch I know?" Rabid raised his eyebrows.
Thrash sighed. "Hell, I don't know who she is. My mother is bugging the shit outta' me and I need to find out which motherfucker is stealing from me. So if I could take off now, I'd appreciate it."
Rabid hated thieves, unless he was doing the stealing.
"You got any of our brothers working in the shop, Thrash?"
"Nah, some chick, whose fucking everyone. Hired her last minute when I went on the road with you. Should've known better, but live and learn. Unfortunately, it's shit only I can handle. You good with that?"
Rabid thought it over and replied, "How about you keep her around until I get back and let the club deal with her? I fucking hate thieves. We'll teach her to steal from a brother."
"Nah Rabid, her daddy’s state police - not worth the hassle. I'll take the loss or figure it out. Just want to start out today."
Rabid patted him on the back. "We're good. You need money?"
"Hell I won't lie and say I don't," Thrash laughed.
Rabid handed him a wad of cash and slapped him on the back.
"Be safe, Thrash, you're one of my best ' boys. '"
Thrash was packed within the hour, made his goodbyes, and got on the road.
When he stopped for gas he made a call to Central Jerseys' club house. The message was to tell V he'd be coming; he’d be back in New Jersey by the next afternoon.

Thrash was exhausted, wondering if he should stop and rest. He really wanted to get home but he didn't want to go down on his chopper, either. Deciding on safety, he stopped in Delaware at the Bound for Hell clubhouse. At least he could get some speed there, even if he hated the shit.
The clubhouse was a nice one and the brothers were all pretty cool. Not a hot bed of bullshit like some of the clubhouses they had just been  too.
Thrash coasted into the lot. He looked for an opening in the long line of bikes. He finally found one and shut his engine down as he pushed backward into the space. He noticed Jersey right away coming toward him. He greeted him with a punch and a hug.
"Bro, good to see ya. Heading back
