“There’s no need to take it back. I want whatever you want. I want for us to try new things. I want for us to be able to tell each other our fantasies. I don’t want to have any secrets.”
Champagne started to interrupt, but Zyair was on a roll.
â€œI want for us to be best friends again. Somehow we’ve lost that. How are we going to do that if we can’t say what’s on our mind? I want us to be able to say anything and everything to one another without the judgment. Like I said, I want what you want, even if that’s to bring another woman in our bed for us.”
Okay, okay, he was getting the wrong impression. She wasn’t talking about bringing another woman into the relationship or into their bed for them but for herself. It sounded like that’s what he thought she meant, so Champagne knew she had to clarify that right away. She sat up. “Hold up, hold up, hold up. I didn’t say anything about bringing another female in our bed for us.”
Confused and disappointed, Zyair thought he was going to have is cake and eat it too. He asked her, “Well, what did you mean?”
â€œI guess what I’m asking you is to do what we did in Jamaica but not under those conditions, not under the influence. I want to see if I enjoyed it as much as I did for myself, and not because of you.”
â€œWould that be so bad, enjoying it because you were under the influence?” Zyair asked.
For a brief second a shot of insecurity swept through him. What the hell did that girl do to his woman? Did that Whisper put it down like that? Was she that good that Champagne was thinking about it a week later? Zyair knew his pussy-eating skills were up to par but was he building himself up? Nah, there was no way he was as good as he was only in his mind. No way in hell. After all these years, he knew that Champagne couldn’t be faking her pleasure.
He couldn’t help it. He just had to know. “What about it did you enjoy? Was she better than me? Did she make you cum harder?”
Champagne could tell immediately where these questions were coming from—his insecurity—and didn’t want to take it there. She touched his arm. “Sweetie, it’s not that serious. And if you’re going to start doubting us and how you make love to me, then let’s just forget I said anything.”
Okay, he messed up and he knew it. He didn’t want her to change her mind, because although he may have jumped to conclusions thinking she’d let him be a part of the next escapade, he was more than willing to watch once again.
â€œNo, no, I don’t doubt us. That’s not it at all. It’s just that we never talked about what happened. Whenever I brought it up, you nixed it off or changed the subject.”
His statement was correct. She did want to pretend that none of it happened. That obviously didn’t work because it was still on her mind. She now wanted to close the subject, and turn over and go back to sleep, but she knew that wouldn’t happen now.
â€œOkay, well let’s talk about it now. What do you want to know?”
Zyair looked her in the eyes. “Did it feel good?”
    â€œYes.”
â€œDid it feel different from when I make love to you?”
â€œDifferent yes, better no. And if you recall, we made love immediately after, and it intensified our lovemaking.”
    â€œWhat was different about it?”
    â€œAbout what? Us?”
    â€œNo. You and her.”
â€œYou know how they say a woman’s touch is softer, gentler?”
    â€œYes.”
â€œWell, it’s sort of true. There was sensuality there that I hadn’t experienced before, a sort of sexiness that only women have.” Seeing the confused look on his face, she knew she had to stroke his ego. “It doesn’t take away from what you and I have, though.”
â€œWhat turned you on most about her?”
