    Colt stood up and started walking
towards her, sniffing the air, when Hope caught his scent. The woody, musky,
powerful scent caused her whole body to go on high alert and her wolf to howl
in euphoria. It had found its mate! Colt was her mate and he knew it, too,
judging by the way he was staring at her with those dark eyes.
    ‘Oh fuck!’ Hope shouted.
    ‘What’s wrong, Hope?’ Alex jumped
up next to her.
    ‘Bloody hell. He’s my mate.’ She
saw the smile that reached across Colt’s lips.
    ‘Well, damn, princess. Looks like
I’ll be seeing more of you.’ Colt’s thick, deep voice curled around her, making
her panties instantly wet.
    ‘No way!’ she shouted. ‘What did
I do to deserve this?’ With that, she stormed out of the building towards her
parents’ home.
    Colt sat back down on the bed and
smiled. Hot damn, that pretty little thing was his mate. He had given up hope
of ever finding one, but it just so happened to be the sister of the pack he
hated.
    ‘Shit, Seth’s going to go ape
shit once he hears this.’ Alex shook his head and laughed at Colt. ‘I hope you’re
ready for her. She’s going to be a tough one to catch.’
    ‘Good job I like to chase.’ Colt
lay down and looked up at the ceiling. Life was about to change – whether it
was for the better, he didn’t know yet. But things were certainly about to get
interesting.
