pour her a small glass of Canada dry ginger ale and take her some crackers, which she would nibble on until she started to feel better. They seemed to be working so far.
Michael wasn’t supposed to see Lily on their wedding day until she was walking towards him in all her wedding finery, or so tradition told him, but nothing was said about texting each other and he needed to know that Lily was all right.

    Chapter 2

Lily opened her eyes slowly as she rolled over onto her back. What she really wanted to do was jump up and race down the hall to Michael’s room, where she'd throw herself into his arms. She’d beg him to show her everything she’d been missing for this excruciatingly long week. What had possessed her to come up with her no sex for a week rule?
Grinding her teeth, she buried her nose under the thick duvet and counted the seconds as her stomach rolled and threat ened to come racing up her throat. As much as she wanted to see Michael, she needed to wait for the nausea to settle. It usually did within a few minutes, but Michael insisted on taking care of her.
He pampered her and insisted it was his job to make s ure she was well looked after. Every time Lily tried to tell him she was quite capable of looking after herself, and she didn’t want him running around after her, he would point out that she was carrying his child and it was the least he could do.
Eventually, Lily had realized that Michael really did want to do everything to make sure she was comfortable, not because he felt obligated, but because he got enjoyment out of being needed.
She smoothed her hands over her belly, which protected their children.  Michael had no idea she was carrying twins. The doctor had told her after the sonogram when Michael was out of the room. Apparently, one of the babies had been lying alongside his or her brother or sister, which had made it more difficult to see.
Every time Lily thought about having twins her heart would skip a beat. It was daunting enough knowing that within six months or thereabouts they would have a small part of themselves to look after, but two babies frightened the life out of her. Although Michael would probably panic at first , she knew he would be with her every step of the way, along with his family.
All she had to do was break the ‘twin’ news to him, but considering how stressed he’d been leading up to the wedding Lily had thought it best to wait until after they’d said ‘I do’.
Shaking herself from her thoughts, Lily realized her nausea had finally disappeared. Moving slowly to keep it at bay, Lily slid out from under the covers and made her way to the bathroom.
Switching the shower on , she relieved her bladder, washed her hands then brushed her teeth before climbing under the warm spray, which had reached the correct temperature.
Another thing Michael had been adamant about was not showering in steaming water because he didn’t think it was good for the baby to be ‘roasted’.
Reaching out , Lily took hold of the shower gel, smiling as she squirted some into the palm of her hand before placing the bottle back on the ledge.
She started rubbing the gel into her neck and collarbone, moving her hands over her breasts and sensitive nipples, which caused her to inhale as the pressure went straight to her clit.
Ignoring her throbbing nipples she moved over her belly in a gentle caress before moving to wash between her legs, which had her breath coming in quick succession.
Without meaning to she’d managed to awaken her sexual need, which she’d ignored during the past week because of her no sex before the wedding ban. She had been stupid making that decision and had been stunned when Michael agreed.
Lily tried to concentrate on washing her thighs, but her hands had a mind of their own and kept moving towards her pussy.
A quick flick to her clit had her legs quivering with need, but she refused to do the final step of entering her sex. Bringing
