The Slime Dungeon: Book 1 (The Slime Dungeon Chronicles)
biggest concern remains that she may have come in to contact with a rare poison or her minds retreats indefinitely into her body. Thankfully from what I have found, she has not been poisoned so her body should recover in time. Her mind on the other hand, that is something we will have to wait and see."
As the Queen sobbed and hugged her child, her body began to glow red as her battle aura came into being. Knowing his wife’s temperament when angered, the King quickly hugged her. "Have no fear my love, those responsible will be punished, I assure you.” He thanked the healer and promptly led his wife out of the room.
“King husband,” The queen growled in anger, “I will personally burn all who dared to lay their hands on my daughter.”
He nodded as he walked her swiftly to the training hall where she could take her anger out on the magical dummies. After all, his wife was one of the strongest mages in the kingdom and rarely ever lost her temper. When she did, however, it assuredly spelt disaster for the castle and his coffers.
As the two walked away, a dark-hooded figure stepped out of the shadows and observed them. As the two disappeared around the corner, the figure spoke into a softly glowing stone. “The King remains ignorant of the plan. Shall I execute the princess as a precaution?”
The figure paused for a moment, listening to the response and bowed its head, “As you wish, she shall remain as she is. I will take me leave.” It pocketed the stone and led out a quiet growl while eyeing the door to the infirmary where the princess rested. "Curse you child for throwing my plans off. Curse to those fools who failed to carry out their instructions properly, and curse to this mysterious ‘Doc’,” it growled one more time, “You will regret interfering in this affair, this I assure you.”
The figure moved back into the shadow and then it was gone.

Chapter 12
In the coming days, Doc found himself in a predicament. Thanks to his new abilities, he was swarmed with adventurers trying to make a living off of him. He was forced to constantly pop out new slimes at night and he even had to make some during the day. Since the number of parallel realities he could have was unlimited, the tired dungeon lord was forced to use most of his energy creating in order to prevent the more seasoned adventurers from getting too close to his room.
While the majority of adventurers were E through C rank, a few B-ranked adventurers sometimes came as part of a weaker team and led them to the boss room. It was rare, but occasionally his overslime would be defeated and the herbs would be gathered.
After a week of exploring, various changes took place in the base camp.
The base camp finally finished setting up stores and stalls, creating a miniature town next to the forest. The tavern soon became the most popular spot for adventurers, while the Adventurer Guild outpost was soon assigning various quests to be accomplished.
Due to the nature of Doc's dungeon, the magic enchanting business was doing quite well, attracting various artisans and blacksmiths to the area. The most common weapons were made of copper mined from the dungeon itself. The realities/instances did not start until after the first room, which prevented a surplus of copper and forced the adventurers to assign times for when individuals could mine.
The dungeon underwent a few changes as well, mostly in the variety of slimes. With the first evolution perk unlocked, some of Doc's slimes had undergone evolution and propagated. The most common evolution was the herb slime: a slime created after ingesting a certain amount of herb plants form the heart room. They gained a green color and abilities to poison or paralyze their prey by shooting small bits of themselves. Their loot expanded to include a slime extract that was used in remedies for poison and paralyses.
The second slime type that arose came from the pitfall traps where the few unlucky/dumb/’accidentally
