that
there was nothing between us and that I was leaving the firm, so you’d know I
wasn’t trying to play you.’
‘Ok,’ she nodded, after a considered pause.
‘Ok? Really? We’re good?’ I asked, my heart in
my mouth. No way could I lose her now, not my Tracy.
‘We’ll get there, I really want to get past
this. No more swingers’ meetings though. We can still have a great sex life on
our own, and at least we can look back and know we fulfilled our fantasies. We
don’t need to have any regrets, it was great at the time.’
‘It was,’ I agreed, relief flooding my system.
I dipped my head to kiss her, grateful she didn’t turn her head away. It was a
great start to a brand new life together. ‘Right, I’d better call her in. I
warned her to bring a box of tissues, as I think it’s going to get ugly and her
tough persona may crack.’
‘Do you have to mention her and cracks in the
same breath? I can’t believe what we did to each other,’ Tracy mumbled,
elbowing me in the side. I laughed and clasped her face, angling it up to look
at mine.
‘It was seriously hot, don’t try and deny it,
but you’re right. The best sex of my life has always featured you, I don’t need
anyone else. You’re the one that I want.’
    ‘You’re really quoting Grease song
lyrics to me at a very serious moment?’ she giggled.
‘I’m thinking I’d love to dress up as John
Travolta and have you all Olivia Newton John in that sexy tight black Lycra cat
suit.’
‘I’d make you come like greased lightning,’ she
winked.
    ‘I don’t doubt it,’ I groaned. I’d even settle
for one of our mundane old Saturday night sessions right now, anything to feel
the woman I loved beneath me again. ‘How about we make Sabrina wait and
christen the desk before we have the place to ourselves for the night?’ I
suggested, testing the water.
‘Now you’re talking, Hodgins,’ she replied,
that youthful twinkle reappearing in her eyes, the one I’d fallen in love with.
‘Judge Hodgins,’ I reminded her, undoing my
belt.
‘Bring home the sexy black robe, white curly
wig and gavel and we’ve got ourselves a whole other fantasy to play out,’ she
teased, lifting her skirt to discard her knickers in the waste bin.
‘You’re on, sweetheart,’ I chuckled, my heart
swelling larger than my cock.
‘Do me two favours?’ she asked, locking the
door and then hopping up onto the desk.
    ‘Name it.’
‘First make sure the intercom is on, so she can
hear what happens whichever room of the suite she’s in. Then make me scream
like a banshee when I come, to piss her off?’
    ‘Deal,’ I grinned.

Toni Bradbury was looking forward to a night in The London
Domville’s ballroom, but with a healthy dose of trepidation. It was her ten
year university reunion. Ten years since she’d last seen Finian Delany. Just
the thought of him made her heart race and palms sweat. Best friends from the
moment they met in college and inseparable throughout university, it was
astonishing that they’d never once ended up in each other’s beds. It wasn’t for
lack of attraction that was for sure. With his sexy Irish lilt, wild untameable
dark locks, eyes as stormy blue as the Celtic sea he’d grown up near, Finian
was the guy all the women wanted. Finian was the guy all the women got. Except
for Toni. She’d always wondered why, but never asked. Too embarrassed to have
it confirmed that of all the girls in the world, she was the only one he wasn’t
attracted to.

Once they graduated he moved to Dubai, to work as an
Architect, promising to keep in touch. But she never heard
