you are unsure but not dead set against it. Put a 3 if it’s a hard boundary that you refuse to cross.”
He plucked a pen from a caddy on the corner of his desk and handed it over to me.
“Now obviously, I’m not into everything on that list, but I want to meet your needs as well as mine, so if there’s something you are interested in that I am not, I can make arrangements to help you in that area.”
Help me? I wasn’t sure I wanted to know what that meant. But at that point, I really didn’t care. If he wanted me to fill out a questionnaire about my wants and needs then he wasn’t kicking me out. He was keeping me. My heart soared.
I worked my way down the list. Some of the options, I had to seriously think about. Did I want to be flogged? My mind wandered back to the delicious feeling of his hand striking my bare bottom, and my pussy clenched. I marked that one a 2, though I had a feeling it would move up to a 1 after my first experience with it.
As I neared the bottom of the list, I began writing quite a few 3s. The last several options included quite a few things which sounded extreme. I wasn’t even certain what some of them were but the names clued me in to the fact that I didn’t even want to know.
Once I’d finished, I handed the paper back to Jace. As he read over it, a smile played across his handsome face. Apparently, he was pleased with some of my choices.
“Oh, this will work very well.”
He glanced up at me, and I caught the unmistakable heat in his eyes. My body reacted immediately, and I felt wetness between my thighs. It was amazing what one look from him could do to me.
“Katie, I want you to understand that your job here is not tantamount to agreeing to this. You don’t have to be submissive to me in my private room or in a sexual way to continue working for me.”
I nodded but wondered if that were the case why he’d started our relationship off that way. He’d spanked me the very first time we met.
His eyes crinkled in merriment. Apparently, he’d correctly read the look of confusion on my face.
“I can’t explain it really. The night you came for the interview, I was surprised. Nothing in the information from Carrington Acquisitions prepared me for what I felt when you walked into the room and looked at me. I sensed something in you. I decided to test you with the punishment to see if I was correct. And I was.”
“So you don’t make a habit of spanking your employees?”
His laugh rolled out rich and loud.
“Oh heavens no! I can honestly say you’re the first.”
I squirmed a bit in my seat. What had he seen in me to make him bend me over his desk? I shivered at the remembrance of the sensation of his hand smacking against my bare flesh. It didn’t matter what he’d seen. Only that he’d done it.
“I obviously want to keep my job.” I smiled at him and continued. “But I want this too.”
“Good. I was hoping you’d say that. This part of our relationship will be completely private. I will never expect you to behave in any way other than professionally if others are in the room. However, when we are alone it’s another story entirely.”
He picked up another paper and handed it to me.
I read over it, surprised by some of the words. Along with promises to follow my boundaries, it contained a pledge from him that he would always treat me with utmost respect and care. I, in turn, would pledge to honor his orders and always be truthful and upfront about my expectations and my feelings during a session.
“As you can see, what we do is actually entirely up to you. You are putting your well-being in my hands. If at any point, you become uncomfortable with something, you only need to say so. It’ll work best by the use of safe words.
“If you say yellow, I will know that we are approaching the end of your limits. It doesn’t mean I will stop. Just that I will tread with care. However, if you say red, I will stop immediately. No matter what.”
    “I
