you.”
Jenna’s head shot up.  “What are you talking about?” she asked.
Kate’s eyes opened wide in both surprise and delight.  “Come on, Jenna.  Do you mean to tell me you didn’t know?”
“Didn’t know what?” Jenna asked through clenched teeth.
“Why, you’re just a psychology experiment, sweetie.”
Jenna’s mind raced, recalling her conversation with Dean at Risqué , and how he was working on his psychology thesis.  Surely not…
Kate waved her hand over Jenna’s body.  “Goodness, Jenna, just look at you.  You can’t possibly think he’d want you.”
When Jenna didn’t answer, Kate put her hand to her mouth.  “Oh, my goodness, you really thought he’d chosen you over me.  You’re an experiment, sweetie.  It’s simply in his nature to help people.”
Just then Dean came up behind her.  Eyes enraged, he grabbed Jenna by the elbow and hauled her to him.  “It’s not like that.”
Kate’s high-pitched chuckle grated on Jenna’s last nerve.  “Go ahead, Dean,” Kate encouraged.  “Tell her she’s nothing more than an experiment to you.”  Her gaze panned Jenna’s silky blue dress.  “An experiment gone wrong by the looks of things.”
Stomach clenching, Jenna tipped her head to meet Dean’s gaze.  Without warning, old insecurities rushed back to plague her.  Her mouth opened, but her words caught in her throat.  When she looked deep into his troubled eyes, her world shifted.  His brow furrowed in concern as he held her gaze.
As she gauged his expression, it occurred to her that what she saw was a man who cared a great deal about her needs, a great deal about her desires, and a great deal about her.  A man who cared enough to take her on a journey of self-discovery, fulfill all her secret fantasies, and offer her a gift no man had ever offered her before.  Sexual self-confidence.
Suddenly Megan’s words rushed through her mind - I bet he feels the same way about you.  The second she looked into Dean’s eyes, she knew he reciprocated her feelings.  The way he gazed at her told her everything she needed to know.
She glanced at Kate.  A beautiful woman on the outside, no question about it.  It was too bad that, with her, beauty really was only skin-deep.  Dean had shown Jenna that she was both.  Beautiful on the inside and on the outside.  And the look in his eyes gave her the courage to do what she was about to do next.
She drew a breath and considered Kate’s question.  Did Jenna really think Dean would choose her over Kate?  “Yes, I think he chose me,” she said with confidence.  She put her hand on Kate’s shoulder and gave her a little push.  “Now, if you’ll excuse us, we are in the middle of a romantic date.”
When Kate gasped in outrage, Jenna turned her back, giving Dean all her attention.  He let out a slow breath and gathered her into his embrace.  “Thank you,” he whispered.  “You are an amazing, beautiful, confident women, and I’m absolutely crazy about you.”
After he dropped a soft kiss on her mouth, she inched back.  Her heart beat so hard in her chest she thought it would explode.  She could hardly believe the man of her dreams - and fantasies - was as crazy about her as she was about him.
“Dean, I feel the same way about you.”
He tugged on her arm and looked at her with smoldering eyes.  “Come on.  We need to eat.  Fast.”
Chuckling, Jenna asked, “What’s your hurry?”
“I need to get you home.”
“Oh, but I thought you were starving,” she asked, teasing him.
“Someone once told me that when I met the right girl, I’d be down on my knees, in record time.  Jenna, you make me want to be down on my knees, in more ways than one.”
Her heart leapt in her chest and she stopped mid-stride.  “I think we should skip dinner.”
    His lips curled.  “Yeah?”
“You see, Dean, now that you’ve unleashed my inner vixen, my siren side, you have no idea what
