filled her, all the while teasing, pinching, and manipulating her overly sensitive clit.
Laura couldn’t breathe, couldn’t think. A strange sensation built inside her. As if she were on the cusp of an explosion.
“S-Shon,” she gasped as he nearly pulled out, fucking her with quick, short strokes, his fingers working her into a frenzy.
He bent closer to her ear. “Don’t be afraid of it, baby. Go with it. Now.”
A scream shattered the night, and she realized it came from her. Contractions seized her abdomen, expelling hot bursts of liquid from her body.
Laura rode it out, allowing the convulsive orgasm to control her, taking her to a place she never knew existed. All the while savoring the thrust of Shon’s thick shaft, the touch of his masterful fingers.
He pinched her clit once more and buried himself deep, splintering Laura’s hold on reality. She sailed over the edge into the abyss, vaguely aware of Shon’s hoarse shout next to her ear.

Chapter Twenty

Shon could feel his heart pounding in his throat. And not from exertion. He reached up and untied Laura’s bound hands and gently removed himself from her body.
He slowly turned her over. “Are you okay? Did I hurt you?”
“I’m better than okay. That was the most amazing thing I’ve ever felt.”
The corner of his mouth lifted. “I’m glad you liked it.”
“I wet the entire bed,” she whispered, obviously embarrassed. “Was that what I think it was?”
“Yes. Most women go their whole lives and never experience that kind of orgasm. You’re very passionate. I always knew you would be.”
“I often wondered what you would be like too,” Laura confessed. “But I had no idea you would be this incredible.”
“ We . We would be this incredible. It’s different with everyone. Not all couples have the chemistry that we have.”
She reached up and touched his face. “Kiss me.”
A knock sounded on the front door.
Shon bounded from the bed and had his jeans on in record time. “Stay here,” he ordered, blurring down the hall to the kitchen foyer.
“Am I to stand out here on the deck until the sun comes up?”
“Vlad,” Shon greeted, opening the door to allow him entrance.
Stepping over the threshold, a hooded Vlad breezed into the kitchen and took down a bottle of wine. “May I?”
“By all means,” Shon murmured, locking the front door. “Can I help you with something?”
Shon wanted nothing more than to return to Laura’s room and make love to her until daylight.
“Gina will not relinquish her hold on your brother until you hand over my heart.”
Running a hand down his face, Shon meandered around the bar and took a seat on one of the stools. “I thought we’d established that already. And she didn’t ask me to hand it over. She demanded it.”
“We cannot allow her to resurrect Lilith,” Vlad stated thoughtfully. “But we can make her think that we will.”
“How do you propose we do that? And why does she want to bring Lilith back? I still don’t get that.”
“If she drinks the blood of the mother of all vampires, Gina will become immortal. Or so she thinks. Lilith will more than likely kill her, along with the elders…their children included, before creating a chaos on earth such as the world has never seen.”
“So, why don’t you just end Gina’s life before she finds a way to accomplish her intentions?”
Vlad poured a glass of red wine and took a healthy drink. “It would appear that she leaves me no choice.”
Shon’s mouth nearly fell open in surprise. “You’re seriously going to kill Gina?”
“I fear that I am the only one who can at the moment.”
“What are you going to do?”
Finishing off his wine, Vlad set his empty glass in the sink. “Lure her out before the elders arrive. She must be judged by them before she can be put to death.”
    “Lure her out? How?”
    “Using you as bait.”
“Like hell you will,” Laura snapped, storming into the room. “She will
