    Sean smiled obviously pleased with Jordan’s response. “Should I put this on your tab as usual?”
    “Yes, thank you Sean.”
    “I will have the maitre’d retrieve your coats immediately.” Sean hurried off and the maitre’d arrived carrying their coats.
    She could feel Jordan’s impatience to leave and she trembled as she thought about the evening ahead. Once they had their coats, they hurried to the car. The air was cold and crisp, but she barely noticed. She was becoming just as eager to get home as Jordan.
    They arrived at her front door and as she rifled through her clutch for her key she said. “I had a really wonderful evening, thank you so much.”
    “Are you going to invite me in?” he asked, playing along.
    “I don’t know if I should, you might get the wrong idea,” she said pretending to be demure.
