Carson—and then returned.
“Yeah, well, your mates tend to do that,” he murmured and tugged her close. She smelled so damned sweet and clean and purely his. No, he let his gaze go to Carson. Theirs. “You’ll get used to it.”
Rebecca stiffened in his embrace, and he rubbed her back, trying to soothe the sudden tension. “Mates? With an ‘s’? As in plural?”
If Carson got any more hopeful, he’d burst, and Aidan didn’t leave the man in suspense. “Yeah, plural. If you can forgive him for being an idiot.”
She stroked his chest, drawing his attention from the other man. “The better question is whether you can.”
“Yeah. I guess I better. The wolf got pissed at the idea of anyone but him inside you. We’re stuck with him.”
That had Carson glaring at Aidan. “Your wolf is smarter than you.”
“Can’t be too smart if he doesn’t realize you’re a walking, talking pussy.” Aidan shrugged.
    Rebecca elbowed Aidan.
    Aidan grunted.
    Carson laughed.
    Asshole.
“C’mon. I’m tired. I wanna crawl in bed with my mate and never leave.” Aidan nudged and prodded Rebecca until she shuffled into the bedroom once again. When he didn’t hear any heavy footsteps behind him, he turned back to Carson. “You coming?”
“Uh…” Carson looked from him to Rebecca’s retreating form and back again.
Aidan rolled his eyes. “C’mon. I swear if I didn’t know you had a dick, I would think you really do have a vagina.”
He spun on his heel and went into the bedroom, kicking off his shoes and stripping as he went. And if he smiled, it wasn’t because his friend was joining him. Nah, it was because he was crawling into bed with the most beautiful woman in the world.
The one he’d share with Carson.
If the guy would grow some balls already.
It didn’t take long for the man to grow them because suddenly the male was there, crawling into bed on Rebecca’s right side while Aidan took her left. When he spotted Carson’s boxers still hanging on the man’s hips, Aidan raised an eyebrow in question.
Carson shrugged. “Didn’t wanna assume. You two are letting me into your lives. Don’t wanna fuck it up.”
Carson might be worried about modesty, but Aidan wasn’t. Naked as the day he was born, he crawled into bed beside his mate— their mate —and wiggled close until they were skin to skin.
He shared a small smile with Rebecca, noting her light blush, and he couldn’t help but drop a lingering, seductive kiss to her lips.
Rebecca hummed and wiggled closer while looking over her shoulder at Carson and back to Aidan. “Not that tired.”
He rolled his eyes. “Yes, that tired. Go to sleep. We can think about more in the morning.” He softened his words with a gentle glide of his finger across her cheek. “Wanna hold you all night. The rest can come later.”
Rebecca snorted and let her eyes drift close. “You said come.”

Chapter Ten

Rebecca woke to pure pleasure. Warm breath teased her skin, the breeze quickly followed by the delicious slide of a tongue over her flesh. The hair brushing her hip was long and soft, and she knew it’d be silky to the touch. Aidan looked scary as hell but had the prettiest hair. Those talented lips of his suckled her hotspot, her destroyed Mark heating and calling to her mate. Like a beacon in the night, it begged for attention.
If Aidan was tormenting her, then the hard body pressed against her side was Carson. His heat sank into her body, warming her and teasing her with his muscular frame. He touched her, yet didn’t. They were skin-to-skin, but he kept his hands to himself. She imagined he was hard and wanting, but she wasn’t sure since his cock was nowhere near her side.
    There, but not.
Rebecca slid her hand down her abdomen, fingers ghosting over mangled flesh until she stroked Aidan’s skull.
“There she is,” he murmured against her flesh.
She hummed in response and rocked her hips, enjoying the sensations of his mouth. He left
