Vance’s head. It would seem that Patrick and Becca had already met. Since Patrick wouldn’t know to reach out to her, it must have been Vance’s favorite brat who initiated contact. Vance didn’t know if he should strangle her or give her a huge hug.
Patrick gave Vane a crooked smile. “She and her dog showed up at my apartment a couple of hours ago.”
“Do you mind if she stays with your friends for the night?”
“No,” Patrick’s smile, slow and brilliant glowed brighter than the lights. “Oliver and Ronnie may act like they care, but it will be all an act. I can tell they already like her.”
    “Can I get Ronnie’s number?”
Patrick handed over his phone. “It’s speed dial two.”
Vance dialed Ronnie and after a short conversation he disconnected with a smile on his face.
    “The place is ours.”
“Does Becca usually live with you?”
“No. Her mother died when she was young.
She usually lives with her grandmother in

Chicago. Unfortunately, she’s good a persuading me to send her a ticket and doesn’t give me much warning.”
“Well maybe we can get her to work on her giving notice,” Patrick said.
Vance laughed. “Maybe.” He had doubts Becca would ever learn any manners but she might decide to show some courtesy if she liked Patrick.
“Although she did mention that she didn’t want to leave here anytime soon. I’m sorry to say that she claims to like us.” Patrick said.
“God help us all,” Vance replied, without any real vehemence.
It wouldn’t be bad having her around for good.
Sure she may drive him crazy at times, but he sensed that she needed him and, as always, Vance would be there for her.
Patrick turned a lovely shade of red. “I liked your DVD.”
    “Did you now,” Vance said.
“Yes, I watched it in my room, so the others couldn’t see,” Patrick admitted.
Vance let out a relieved sigh. That answered one question. “I want us to date.”
Patrick tilted his head as if Vance was talking in code and Patrick had trouble deciphering it.
    “What do you mean?”
“I want us to go out. See movies that don’t contain porn, eat at nice restaurants, and at the

end of the night have my lover go to bed with me.” Vance replied.
“I’d like that, too.” Patrick said. The light in his eyes told Vance his lover enjoyed the thought of them sharing their lives as much as Vance did.
“I think we should seal our agreement in my bedroom,” Vance proposed.
“I like that idea.” Patrick pulled off his shirt and dropped it on the closest chair. “Meet you in the bedroom.”
“Second door on the left,” Vance said. He smiled as he watched his gorgeous lover walk away from him. He wondered how long it would take before he could move Patrick into his apartment permanently.
Until such time he’d have fun doing something he’d never thought he’d do…date.
    “I’m waiting….” Patrick called.
Vance walked to his bedroom, a warm feeling going through him. Although, he’d never realized it before, he had been missing something. Thank god, Patrick had stumbled into his life, or else Vance would have continued to just exist, lonely and never truly happy.
Who would have ever guessed that Porn would finally be the thing that brought him The One?
