mattered. It really didn’t. Not even the fact that she wasn’t sure she always recognized herself anymore, or always liked herself.
The Club scene didn’t lend itself to casual dating and really getting to know someone like Warren, and conversely, she hadn’t been able to afford a lot of time in having him come to know her. She had taken her courage in both hands and made the leap into a D/s relationship with him and truly thought it had been the best thing to do at the time. She still did, although those parts of her that she quashed sometimes longed for someone to tease and squabble with, and have fun with.
Warren was a ruthless and wealthy businessman. He had inherited the business from his father, just as he had inherited considerable wealth and the family home. He was an only child, and Haley thought that was a shame. Siblings might have softened Warren. Haley’s mom had died from cancer two years ago, and only the connection, albeit a long distance one, with her sister Iris had made life bearable then. That and her obsession with Warren. It had given her hope as well. Warren came across as a cold and distant person, but Haley believed, with all her heart, that a kind, loving man lived inside that exterior. She had seen glimpses of him when he wasn’t being the person he thought he should project. He was such a complex man, and at times a total contradiction, even if he wasn’t aware of it. Haley’s continuing mission in life had been the study of Warren, after all. But that night with Gordon changed it. Haley didn’t know exactly how things had changed, but she had felt it, even if she denied it to herself at the time. And Warren had felt it, too.
Their anniversary evening had started out positively. Their Club friends and acquaintances were in attendance, the food and drink tasteful, and the atmosphere warm and welcoming. When everyone had begun to file down to the dungeon, Haley had successfully fought nerves and assumed her “for Warren” personality in totality. Gordon had prepared her, and she had appreciated his firm, compassionate approach. His nearness had also excited her, and she remembered now that she really hadn’t wanted Warren to know.
“Remove your clothing, Haley,” Gordon ordered. “Place it on the table beside me.”
Haley complied and stood tall for his perusal. He smiled at her and stroked the back of his hand across her cheek. His erection bulged the front of his leathers, and his massive chest shone with the sweat of arousal.
“I am honored that Warren is sharing with me, little one,” he said. “Although I am surprised you allow it.”
Haley fought the sudden twitch of anxiety and managed to reply. “Warren knows best, Sir. And I want what he wants.” That somehow sounded gutless to her, even in her sub role, and she looked away from Gordon, afraid he would read her thoughts.
Gordon put his fingers under her chin and forced her to look at him. “You have never been shared, Haley. Be certain this is what you want. Warren will accept it if you refuse.”
Haley wasn’t so sure. Warren had always shared, and often at the Club, yet he hadn’t expected it of her. He seemed content being alone with her, but she dared not risk it. This was a one-time deal, she assured herself, and she would do it for him. She would do anything for Warren. Besides, Gordon’s proximity was making her pussy tingle and weep. Haley fought that feeling. She should have eyes only for Warren.
“I want what my Master wants, Sir.”
Gordon shrugged and released her chin. “You must know him better than I.”
Haley wondered at that statement, but he was already leading her to the cross, where the rest of the members stood around to witness the event. It was their first anniversary, an important event to mark, and Haley now wasn’t as certain.
Gordon carefully restrained her wrists first, wide apart on the top of the frame, checking that she was secure without the straps being too tight and
