Prologue
Lexi had always been a love-them-and-leave-them type of girl. Sex was just an act of two people in lust coming together for an enjoyable experience. Emotions never complicated matters. After Mr. Pearson left her office, Lexi plopped back in to her chair, putting her feet up on her desk. Weeks had gone by and Lexi continued her daily routine sans Lacey.
