Prologue

Lexi had always been a love-them-and-leave-them type of girl.  Sex was just an act of two people in lust coming together for an enjoyable experience.  Emotions never complicated matters.  And, for most cases, it was as simple as a quick fuck in a closet, the back seat of a car or some other place where access was easy and fast.  Rarely did she climax without masturbating during the act.  She always assumed that was what sex was supposed to be like.

Since high school, guys came on to her fast and hard.  She always practiced safe sex, but rarely did she ever have any true intimacy.  Oral sex was something she rarely received or gave.  Her pleasure was in conquering the man.  She was always the one in control.  Until she met Dante.

Dante showed her a taste of losing control.  To be an exhibitionist and to indulge in her fantasies.  He had shown her that there were places and people that knew the carnal pleasures of giving and receiving intimacy.  Lexi realized there was so much more to his world and she wanted more.

Dante played a cruel trick on her that last night.  He had her trust in his hands.  With the understanding that denying him any request would result in the end of their relationship, he blindfolded her and coerced her to give oral pleasure to a woman, while taking his own.  It had been an interesting and pleasurable experience, until he commanded her to engage in sex with that woman…her best friend, Lacey.  She had been used, had been pushed to the edge.  She couldn’t take it and left both her lover and best friend behind.

The sound of Dante’s laughter still rang through her ears at night.  It wasn’t just a Dom/sub relationship.  It was something cruel in him that hurt her so much more than just a numb quick fuck.  She ran… all the way to another state, far removed from everything she had ever known.  Not only that, she had run from the sexual pleasures she was sure he could show her.  Her heart was broken and her body was longing.

“Thanks , Mr. Pearson.  You are wonderful.”  Lexi gave the portly man a quick hug before returning to pack up her desk.

“You are a phenomenal writer, Lexi.  I don’t want to lose you, so I’m willing to do the long-distance thing with you.”  Mr. Pearson chuckled.

“I have the schedule, so once I settle in I will email you over the rough draft on the second article for the couples lounge.”

“I can’t believe how well the first article went over.  I was pleasantly surprised.”

“Well, they say ‘sex sells’ right?”  Lexi gave her boss a small smile as she continued her packing.

After Mr. Pearson left her office, Lexi plopped back in to her chair, putting her feet up on her desk.  Weeks had gone by and Lexi continued her daily routine sans Lacey.  She couldn’t bring herself to talk to her or see her again.  Dante too.  She had said no to him, refusing to play a part in his fantasy and therefore, had broken their agreement.

Lexi wrapped her arms around her stomach.  Her heart ached for the loss of her best friend and her sexy lover.  She left most of her experience out of the first article she had submitted to her boss.  She only spoke of the atmosphere, the general activities available, and the cleanliness of The Lounge.  She couldn’t bring herself to think of the specifics that affected her personally.  That didn’t matter much to Mr. Pearson or their readers.  They loved the article and begged for more.

The second article was going to be more difficult.  As the weeks went by after that night, Lexi couldn’t fight the dreams.  Dreams that were filled with the memories of Dante’s control over her and how good it felt to let herself go under his care.  She hungered for it and found herself wet and throbbing every time she woke up.  He had awakened something in her that she found she craved.

    Unfortunately, it had ended before
