silk, you know?” he continued. “I love the colour sable.” His fingertips trailed over her cheek. “My luck has sent me a real treat on this miserable night.”
The drink appeared, and she took a long greedy sip of the ice-cold liquid. “Yum,” she said, licking her lips. “Just the way I like it.”
“I don’t think I’ve ever seen you here before,” the man said.
She shook her head. “This is the first time I’ve been inside here. In fact, I don’t think I’ve even been aware of this place before. I’m usually in a rush to get home.”
“Oh?” He lifted one eyebrow. “Someone waiting for you?”
“No.” Oh, wait. Should she have said she had a roommate, who would be looking for her? A built-in safety factor?
“No, just a bubble bath and a glass of wine. I usually drive to work, but my car’s out of commission.
And tonight, with the rain, cabs are very hard to come by. Then I noticed a man coming in here and decided to have a drink until rush hour was over and I could more easily get a taxi.”
“Then I give thanks to the rain,” he said, “for bringing you in here. By the way, we should probably introduce ourselves. I’m Mark.”
“Lisa,” she told him and took another sip of her drink.
He was so close to her that his scent enveloped her. Tantalising her. Something woodsy, with a trace of leather, mingled with the aroma of the bourbon he was drinking. Again, liquid trickled from her cunt, and tiny quivers raced through its walls. She could feel the heat rising from him.
“Well, Lisa.” He lifted his glass. “Here’s to rain storms and lack of taxis.”
They clinked glasses, and she watched him over the rim of hers as she drank. He wasn’t classically good looking, but he was the most masculine man she’d seen in ages. He had taken off his jacket, and the soft material of his shirt accentuated his broad shoulders and powerful body. His eyes were a piercing blue, framed by the thickest lashes she’d ever seen on a man.
When she looked up, she realised he was watching her with a predatory gaze.
“Like what you see?” he asked.
She felt herself flush with embarrassment. “Sorry. I was just…”
“No problem.” He grinned. “Look all you want. I plan to.” He took her glass from her, set it on the table and casually unbuttoned the two top buttons on her silk blouse, his fingers brushing the fabric open.
“There. Much better.” His eyes raked the swell of her breasts, a feral light flashing in them.
Well, hadn’t she fantasised about something like this? And when she’d given up hope, here was a man Page 7

helping her to live out that very daydream. What else could she expect tonight? The pulsating in her pussy that had begun the moment the man had first touched her increased in intensity.
His eyes were fixed on the swell of her breasts, and she was sure he could see how her nipples had darkened and hardened through the sheer material. Her lace bra wasn’t much camouflage. His arm draped casually around her shoulders, and the next thing she knew, he was trailing kisses across her cheek until his mouth reached hers. His lips were smooth and warm, his tongue like liquid heat as it probed the seam of her mouth, demanding entrance.
When she opened for him, his tongue swept inside, and the kiss became greedy and devouring. She was barely aware of his other hand moving to cup her breast, his thumb rasping against the swollen nipple.
Her head was swimming when he finally broke the kiss.
    “You’re very bold,” she said.
“But you like bold, don’t you?” His voice had deepened, thick with desire.
Did she? She thought she’d had it with some of her lovers, but it had been an illusion. “Um, well…”
Fingers squeezed her nipple gently then pinched it just enough to send bolts of pleasure-pain streaking through her. “Oh, yes. I can tell. Your nipples are so hard they’re
