over her fingers.
“She came to the right place if she’s not looking for anything serious, there is at least half a dozen guys here that wouldn’t mind getting a piece of her.” Gareth softly returned,
“And you?” she softly asked
“I want you.” he husked before lacing their fingers, there’s something about you that intrigues me.”
“Really?” Danielle uncertainly gasped, he warm palm pushing against hers, their fingers intimately entwined, she could already picture them similarly entwined in bed.
“Yes,” he replied, lifting her hand to place a soft kiss on it.
“Why not just be obvious and say you want to take me to bed?” she asked looking at him again, swallowing when he licked his lips.
“And that would work?” He husked in return.
“Better than trying to be nice about it or saying things you don’t really mean.” She returned pulling her hand from his, causing him to pull back slightly.
“So you would go to bed with me if I blatantly asked you to, but being nice about it you’ll resist?” he asked shaking his head slightly.
“I prefer honest men. That way I know where I stand.” Danielle returned lifting her glass to her lips.
“Ah! And another secret is revealed.” Gareth said lifting his own glass, his words caused Danielle to look at him in question. “Not only was he inconsiderate, he was a liar as well.” Gareth professed, then noted her look, before returning his glass on the bar top. “Okay I’ll be honest with you.” He said turning towards her once again taking her hand, “I want to take you to bed, and I won’t talk about it to anyone else. However, I do want to wrap it up in sensuality, because I want you to enjoy it not just lie there for God and Country.”
Danielle looked at him for a moment before moving from her seat. Gareth let go of her hand, and looked at her in surprise when she reached for his, “Come.”
“Now?” Gareth questioned in surprise, “You would do that?” he added stunned when she pulled him along.
“I like you.” She flatly stated, and watched him signal something to Lucas, then demanding, “What was that for?”
“To tell him your friend is available.” Gareth answered, turning his attention back to her, “I handle rejection a lot better than he does.”
Danielle led Gareth to their room, opening the door and switching on the light, before making for the bed and dropping the keys on the bedside table.
Gareth looked about the room, his gaze landing on the queen size bed, then looked at her in question, hesitation in his voice evident. “You two share a bed?”
“Yes,” Danielle returned shrugging her shoulders, “why is that so strange?” before looking at him.
“So the rumor’s true?” he asked for a moment, shifting slightly on his feet.
“What rumor?” Danielle asked, sitting down on the bed.
Gareth looked about the room for a moment, before clearing his throat. “Two beautiful people on holiday sharing a room and a bed,” he started, halting for a moment to gauge her response, before continuing, ”You sure she won’t mind that I’m here?”
Danielle tipped her head and looked at him before realization struck her causing her to bolt up from the bed, “Oh God! No! Its nothing like that,” she exclaimed before rambling, “we’re not that kind of friends, the holiday was booked before her and Andrew split up, they were supposed to come together.”
Gareth visibly relaxed at that, “So she’s not going to come storming in here demanding explanations.”
“No.” Danielle replied shaking her head, “but she might enjoy watching.”
“Okay.” Gareth carefully replied, then moved closer to her, coming to stand in front of her. Danielle’s heart started racing, her stomach churning, unable to believe that she was actually going to do this.
“Just relax, I’ve got you.” He softly said reaching out to take her hand.
“You got any?” She awkwardly asked.
