Dear Reader,
    While I was trying to decide what to do for book number nine, kids kept asking me to send Jack and Annie under the ocean.
    â€œBut how will they breathe and talk underwater?” I asked.
    After a number of kids suggested a submarine, I began researching the subject and learned about mini-subs, and that settled it.
