them on, but was thankful for the ability to maintain some modesty, even if it was only for a little while. She pulled her sweatshirt off, and with no bra on, she stood just as he required.
Cade nodded his head toward the paddle on the table in a silent directive. Resolutely, she picked it up, walking to the only vacant corner in the living room. She knew, even this early in their relationship, that he expected her nose touching the seam in front of her. The paddle hung loosely from her hand and she felt the familiar butterflies, a tingle in her bottom, her clit throbbing in the way it did preceding any punishment, minor or serious.
Cade was someone who enjoyed spanking and discipline — mostly for fun. But he definitely didn’t shy away from using it for punishment either, as she already knew. Even though they hadn’t been together very long, they’d had many sessions of corner time and playful spanking. He had assured her that whether playing or for serious infractions, certain protocol, and most definitely respect, were always required. So she knew the expectations for standing in the corner — nose touching the wall, no wiggling, no touching your bottom, and definitely no talking.
She startled when he kissed her neck. “You’ve been a very bad girl. Daddy warned you what would happen, but you decided to push limits. You’ll be sleeping with a very sore bottom tonight, baby girl.”
His thumbs hooked into her old fashioned, white panties. He knew she hated them which was probably why he’d made her put them on after her nap earlier that day. He pulled them down so they rested halfway down her buttocks. It surprised her how uncomfortable it was having them not fully up or fully down. Her hands itched to take them off. Or pull them up.
“You’ll hold this paddle on your naughty backside, so you don’t forget why you’re here.” He placed the paddle and her hands exactly where he wanted them, then reached around to pinch her right nipple, twisting it just enough to make her cry out.
“Twenty minutes. Then we’ll talk.” He walked away, leaving her to think and to dread the upcoming events that evening. She should’ve just waited until he told her what was going on. Now, she’d be sore not only tonight, but tomorrow as well. He’d been kind and very protective of her — for years. But now, with all this chaos — and especially now that he’d become her Daddy — he’d become fierce with it. He took great care to watch, shelter, and protect her. And now, she’d violated his trust. He’d be leery of leaving her with the laptop again after this bit of disobedience.
Sunni worried that he may just decide that she was too much work. Men had a habit of doing that. They enjoyed you and liked you, but it didn’t take much for them to decide a relationship with you was just too cumbersome, took too much energy, or they just couldn’t be bothered anymore.
You’re too much, and yet not enough.
First, she’d tried stealing his truck, and now she’d broken the rule about Facebook. Both things were in direct defiance of orders he’d given her. As an officer of the law, he believed in rules and laws. Would that mean he’d give up? Decide she required too much supervision? It was definitely a possibility.
She reached up to wipe at her tears, quickly putting her hand back where it belonged before he could rebuke her again.
    “Are you thinking, bad girl?”
“Yes, Daddy.” She sniffed, trying to keep her nose from running.
    “Good girl.”

    Chapter 12

C ade felt so conflicted. He loved spanking. Always had. He’d spend most of the day looking forward to having his girl over his lap, spanking her white bottom. The thrill of watching it turn from light pink to red, to feel the heat under his palm, the sting in his own hand, knowing it would be worse for her, all of it met a base need in him. He understood that many didn’t feel that way, but when he found a woman
