their breaths at least four times a week.
Jared imagined it must be even harder for Fenix and Joy since their show was
much more energetic than Of Kids and
Monsters .
    Fenix
stirred and opened an eye as Joy moved around him, pulling cushions from under
him to set them around the small coffee table.
    “Stop
that,” he groaned. “What are you doing here?”
    “I’m
helping Jared with dinner. Unlike you,” she scorned, hitting him playfully on
the head with one of the cushions.
    Jared
laughed and brought the full plates to the table, giving Fenix a soft kiss and
sitting next to him. They ate and talked, all of them completely at ease, as if
they’d known each other for years. It felt good. Jared had a sudden thought
that he wanted Adam here as well. It saddened him that it may never happen.
Adam had promised to behave around Fenix, but that didn't mean they’d ever get
along.
    After
dinner, they watched a little bit of CSI :Miami before Joy excused herself to leave. Fenix walked her to the door and Jared saw
them whispering before she gave him a hug and with one last wave at Jared,
left.
    “What
were you two whispering about?” Jared asked when Fenix cuddled back to him on
the sofa.
    “Nothing.”
    “Yeah? You seemed pretty
happy to be whispering about nothing.”
    Fenix
turned his head slightly to look at Jared with huge, blue eyes. His hair was
sticking out, and Jared couldn't hold the impulse to rake his fingers through
it. God, Fenix was so beautiful! It would never stop to amaze him.
    “She
said she liked you, and that you were good for me,” Fenix said, lowering his
eyelids as Jared stroked his hair. It looked like he was a moment away from
purring like a big cat.
    Jared
didn't comment on what Joy had said. He was glad Fenix’s friend liked him and
somewhat approved of their relationship. He wished he could say the same.
    Bending
down to kiss those gorgeous lips, Jared whispered against them,
    “I
want you to fuck me tonight, baby.”
    Fenix’s
eyes widened and he inhaled sharply.
    “Are
you sure?”
    Jared
nodded, pushing Fenix up slowly and taking his hand to lead him to the bedroom.

    Chapter eleven
    Fenix

    “Just go slow,
OK? It’s been a while...” Jared whispered as Fenix positioned himself on top of
him. There hadn’t been any hurry or frantic clothes pulling. They’d kissed,
long and slow and thorough, and Fenix had undressed them both unhurriedly. It
felt so good, so normal to have Jared in his bed, asking to be fucked. It
didn't feel like it was the first time; it felt like they’d done it a thousand
times before. There was no awkwardness, just desire. God help him, Fenix craved
this man. He couldn’t imagine his need for Jared ever running out.
    “We
don’t have to do this, baby,” Fenix whispered back between kisses. He wanted
Jared that way, more than anything, but he wanted it to feel right for him.
There was no rush, they had all the time in the world
to do all the things they wanted to each other.
    “I
can’t stop thinking about it ever since I saw you on that stage, Fen,” Jared
said, running his hands over Fenix’s back. Fenix shivered on top of him, his
erection pulsing and dripping on Jared’s belly. “I want you. All of you.”
    Fenix
moaned and flexed his hips against Jared’s, running his tongue along his jaw,
loving the feel of rough stubble against it. He bit Jared’s chin lightly and
kissed him again, seeking out his tongue and sucking it into his mouth.
    “Fenix...”
Jared groaned wantonly, weaving his fingers in Fenix’s hair and tugging him
even closer, mashing their mouths in a desperate kiss.
    As
much as Fenix wanted to kiss and fondle and grind against Jared’s already slick
with sweat skin, he needed to progress things faster or it would all be over
before he’d even put the condom on. Nobody had ever turned him on so much with
just a few kisses that he was ready to come without even touching himself.
    Fenix
fumbled in the bedside
