like them.”
“They’re beautiful, thank you. Why don’t we go for a walk? So that we can talk.”
Tommy breathed a huge sigh of relief. “Yeah, yeah I’d like that.”
Lilah passed a dumbfounded Kira her flowers, before walking away with a beaming Tommy.
The rest of the family seemed satisfied and went back in the house chuckling. There was only one person who wasn’t altogether happy.
    Kira scowled. “What the hell?!”
    Gabe kissed her temple. “What?
“He’s such an asshole! He doesn’t deserve her, he…”
Gabe silenced her with a lengthy kiss, leaving her wolf virtually purring. “You’re right, but I guess he has the rest of his life to make it up to her.”
    “But…”
“No buts, flower. I know you want to protect your sister, but I don’t think she needs it from him.”
Kira huffed. “I just don’t want to see her get hurt.”
“I know you’ve got a big heart, flower. It’s one of the many reasons I love you.”
Kira fidgeted in his arms. “Well, you’ve got me there.”
He chuckled. “Come on, crisis averted, everyone’s happy. Let’s just relax and enjoy Christmas.”
Kira smiled naughtily. “Hmmm, how about we head on back to the stables?”
Gabe paled. “Not to ride the horses, right?”
“No, to pick up where we left off earlier.” She stood on her tiptoes and nipped his ear.
    “Now you’re talking!”

Adam & Rosalee – Spa Day
    30 th December
Rosalee smoothed a hand over her husband’s cute butt. Her husband! Yep, that was definitely taking some getting used to.
She and her mate, Adam Grey, hot, sexy, Alpha of the Grey wolf pack, married on 23 rd December, scooted up to Niagara Falls for a short honeymoon and were now on their way back to Rose for New Year’s Eve.
After spending the honeymoon in a rented holiday home, which they barely left , Rosalee suggested, or rather insisted, they spend one night in a luxury hotel before returning home. She wanted pampering, just for one night at least.
Adam grouched and said he pampered her all the time. Rosalee pointed out that at a hotel you could order breakfast in bed, him bringing her Pop Tarts, and a carton of orange juice to bed in the morning wasn’t quite the same. And he only did that because he didn’t want her to get out of bed, if he had his way she’d barely ever leave their bed. Not that she was complaining .
“Mrs. Grey? Mrs. Grey?” The friendly looking receptionist smiled patiently.
Rosalee flustered. “Oh yeah, that’s me! Sorry, I keep forgetting.”
Adam raised an eyebrow and snorted, earning him a pinch on his aforementioned cute butt.
During their honeymoon, spent almost entirely naked , Adam had repeatedly called her Mrs. Grey. He delighted in the sound of it; however she still couldn’t get used to it.
Rosalee sighed; she was a little sad to be going home. The last week had been marvelous, from their beautiful wedding, right through to their time alone, and she had loved every moment. But now it was back to reality.
Adam, on the other hand, was dying to get home. He’d never been away from his pack for such a long stretch of time; he was getting antsy, and keen to catch up on pack news. Rosalee hid his cell phone; he’d been out of touch for what felt like forever. Not that he really minded; being alone with his mate, and now wife, wasn’t a chore. He would just prefer for them to be alone at home, in Rose, where they both belonged.
Adam was kind of a control freak about the pack. It wasn’t that surprising; he was their Alpha. Their almighty leader, their undisputed ruler, their all-powerful dictator, Adam really hated it when she called him all those things. But Adam had trouble letting go; almost every waking moment was devoted to the pack. Rosalee didn’t begrudge the pack his attention, but now and again, she just couldn’t help feeling a teeny-weeny bit jealous.
Yes, she knew she was irrational. She knew she was first in his heart, but she couldn’t
