pushed into her he grunted and chattered while still maintaining control.   His face looked in agony.
Lenora orgasmed suddenly.   She made soft noises through her body’s renewed convulsions.   How in the world…?   Lysanter might not have noticed for his own ecstasy.   His grunts grew louder.   Then he made a something like a growl.   His organ pulsated inside her.   She saw his arms begin to lose strength.   A sound was stuck deep in his throat, which failed to exit.   One drop of seed trickled out of her, then another.   Finally, Lysanter withdrew his member.
Lenora let out a deep breath.   She’d be sore tomorrow, but not terribly so.   Hopefully she could still compete.   She was lost in consideration of this when Lysanter plucked her up and positioned her onto her knees.   He moved to penetrate her from behind.
Her eyes became wide as saucers.   “What are you doing?”
He leaned over her back to kiss her.   “Once more.   Please, Lenora.”
She swallowed hard, but remained braced for him.   His cock found its way back into her sex with no need of a guiding hand.   He resumed plunging into her.
Lenora felt certain she couldn’t orgasm again.   Lysanter took so long, however, the prickly ecstasy built up once again.   She came hard enough to have trouble staying propped on her hands and knees.   Lysanter followed minutes after.   His seed was as copious as the prior two times.
After this he finally withdrew for good.   He urged her down onto the bed beside him and cuddled near.   Lenora helped him cover them in the blankets.   She wished to process what had happened, and the challenge before her, but was exhausted.   In moments she fell into the deepest sleep she’d ever known.

The next morning she woke to his gentle kisses on her bare shoulder.   Morning amnesia kept her from panic for two seconds, then she realized what had happened.   Before she could think about that she realized it was morning.
She sat up.   “What time is it?   When am I competing?”
Lysanter smiled at her.   “You’ve an hour or so.   Don’t worry.   It doesn’t matter if you’re late.”
    “It doesn’t?”
“You and Vivian are the only competitors left anyway.”
Her brow furrowed.   “Oh.”   She gathered a sheet around her.   “I’d still like to shower and try to eat something.”
Lysanter caught her arm.   “Wait.   Please.”
    She lowered back beside him.
“Hester must come and take our marriage record.”
    Lenora blinked.   “Our what?”
“The photo of us in bed together—to prove we’ve completed the marriage rite.”
She sat up again.   “Marriage rite?   What are you talking about?”
Lysanter sat up with a look of concern.   “You…didn’t know?”
    “Know what?”
He gestured to the bed.   “This was our marriage rite.   Our coupling.   We’re husband and wife now.”
“No we’re not.   I didn’t perform any rite with you.   We just had sex.”
“Just…had sex.”   He sounded both incredulous and insulted.   “Lenora—you gave yourself to me.”
Lenora placed her face in her hand.   “Look…it was a wonderful thing for what it was.   But it doesn’t mean we’re married.”
    “In my culture it does.”
“In mine it doesn’t!   I wouldn’t have done it if I knew that.   I was just trying to take care of you after I—oh my God.”
His face became pained.   “You still don’t want to be with me?”
    She shook her head.
“Why?   Why, Lenora?   Vivian will be taken care of.   I told you this.   And you know what you heard about us was a myth.”   He turned away from her, stricken.   “There’s a connection between us.   You can’t deny it.   That will only grow if you’d give it time.   Why can’t you stay with me?”
Lenora felt like crying again.   She stared at the blankets and tried to find an answer.
“This is a really fancy world,” she said, forcing the words past a lump in
