nodded before saying, “Someday.”
Kira smiled and said, “Of course. Now my parents explained a few things to me. I realize that you are one of the Chosen and I know what the Prophesy is. However, I am not sure what place we play in the scheme of things. I assume we are the Seers. So how will this work? I see the past and you see the future? I am not quite sure how helpful it is. I mean, sometimes I don"t dream. Sometimes I dream weeks after something happens, and sometimes I dream in the present. It is not an exact science. I wanted to talk to the Alpha"s though. I have seen the Rogues, and there are a few things they do not know. Including the fact there is someone who is hidden, that is helping them.
Someone I have not seen. And someone who is betraying them as we speak.” Blaine frowned and nodded. “I have felt the same thing, but have not been able to see them either. So far, I have not told them about it because I couldn"t guarantee that I was right. I do see the Rogues in flashes, but it is as if something is blocking me. I wondered for a time if the current Seer of the Old Council was the one who was involved with the Rogues. She would be able to block you and me. She is very powerful.” Dalton looked at his mates and smiled, they had no idea how special they were. Both of them thought in terms of them as individuals. When they mated, the three of them would be very special. Dalton knew that he was going to be their anchor. He knew that they would need it, like Jo needed Tey to keep her emotions tethered.
He watched them as they continued to talk about their visions. He even joined in when Kira started laughing about some of their antics as children. Blaine"s expression finally lightened and for the first time he saw him smile a genuine smile. It encased both of them and he felt at peace.
They finished their dinner that had been delivered. Kira began to nervously run her hands down her thighs as if she was trying to stop herself from reaching out to them.
Dalton took one of her hands in his and held it tight. Blaine grinned when he saw the gesture, took the other hand, and did the same.
“So, is the talking portion done for the evening?” Dalton murmured and looked at his mates expectantly.
Kira laughed nervously and said. “Well, I believe there is nothing left to say, except how are we going to do this?”
Dalton frowned and looked at Blaine. “The normal way?” Kira blushed and looked at her mates. She wondered how she was going to tell them that because she knew who her mates were all these years, she had never dated. She knew that both of them had had girlfriends over the years. She was embarrassed to say that she had seen most, if not all, of their sexual escapades. She felt like a voyeur on those occasions, but had no clue how to stop them.
She did not want to make them feel bad, so she sat silently trying to gather her thoughts.
The men thought she was having second thoughts and frowned, at each other first and then her. Still trying to think how she was going to share this, Blaine said with a growl,
“Are you not sure you want to mate with us?” Dalton said with a hurt tone in his voice,
“I thought you said that you had dreamed of us, that you wanted the mating.”
“Oh, I did, I do. I am seriously screwing this up. Oh…I just don"t know how to talk about this.” She started to mumble to herself and the men frowned at her. She was not making any sense.
Kira stood up, began pacing and what looked like talking to herself. She was moving her hands around and looking at the sky. Dalton thought she looked adorable, his little bear. He was obviously going to have his hands full keeping her in line. She was a little scatterbrained.
Blaine laughed when she began to argue with the plant on the other side of the balcony.
Maybe she was in need of an examination. They thought she had not been hurt before they found her, but maybe they had hit her on the head. He leaned in to see if he
