in between her luscious thighs.
“Yes, close the door,” he stood and unbuttoned his suit jacket. Devyn raised an eyebrow but complied. Closing the door, she stepped further in the room.
“What were you and Jeff talking about before the meeting?” He asked.
Surprised by his question, Devyn paused as if trying to remember what he was talking about. “Uh, he was just talking about the gala. He said he had a good time.”
“And after the meeting?” He rounded his desk to stand directly in front of her.
“He just wanted to set up a meeting with Andre.”
“Why was he touching you?” Nikola’s voice was laced with a hint of jealousy. He knew it, but didn’t care.
Devyn shrugged. “He’s always like that. Just being friendly, I guess.”
    Nikola grunted.
“He’s a man. Men aren’t that friendly with women who look like you,” he trailed a finger down her neck.
“Women who look like me? What does that mean?” She asked shocked by his statement.
“You don’t know what you look like? You’re beautiful. And wearing these unintentionally sexy outfits makes you irresistible.” He placed a kiss just behind her ear.
She moaned. “I don’t dress sexy. I’m wearing professional attire.”
She lifted her head, as he continued to kiss and suck at her neck. He wrapped an arm around her waist.
“It doesn’t matter what you wear. A burlap sack wouldn’t be able to hide those sexy curves.”
“I’m sure Jeff doesn’t have any interest in me.” She tried to reassure Nikola.
He lifted his head to look down at her. He saw she was being sincere – she really didn’t realize how beautiful she was.
“You’re wrong, but as long as he keeps his hands to himself, his kneecaps will remain in good working order.”
Her face took on a look of surprise at his statement. He kissed her deeply.
Nikola allowed his hands to roam down the sides of Devyn’s body stopping to cup her hips and pull her closer to him. Devyn’s hands moved up his chest to circle his neck. Even though she wore heels, Nikola had to bend down to access her mouth. He broke off the kiss and bit her chin, before moving down to the other side of her neck. Just as he moved to unzip her skirt his office phone rang. He swore harshly under his breath. Devyn released his neck and stepped back.
“You probably should get that.” She began to leave.
“Don’t go. Whoever it is can call back,” he reached for her.
“I should go. You have work to do and so do I,” she walked to his desk and grabbed a tissue and handed it to him before grabbing one for herself.
“We’re not done.” He warned her.
“Later,” she said winking and exited his office.

Nikola sat in the dark club as the performer named Atomic Galore strutted on stage. The woman had some serious moves, Nikola would admit.
They all did, but he only had interest in seeing one performer in particular.
He’d been waiting for over an hour waiting for Devyn, or Black Pearl, come out on stage. Every now and again, she would come from behind the stage to check on him. He reassured her that he was fine, and he was. Still, he didn’t like the idea of a room full of strangers staring at Devyn. His woman. That was how he came to think of Devyn. As his. He would have to make it clear to her that she belonged to him.
Just as the waitress brought him the Scotch he ordered, Mistress Coco announced Black Pearl to the stage. The waitress smiled.
“Have you seen Black Pearl perform?” She asked excitedly.
“Yes, I have,” he said remembering the last time he saw Devyn on stage.
“Then you know what a treat you’re in for. Enjoy.” She turned and walked away.
Nikola watched Devyn emerge from behind the curtain. She was dressed in a long red overcoat and a black boa. He knew before she left the stage she would be more than half nude and all the people in the room would be seeing her luscious body. His grip tightened on his glass as he brought it to his lips. Although he
