almost sad, but there is a strange glow of satisfaction on their faces. One of the Tops gently pats his submissive’s head and she nuzzles into his leg. Unfortunately I don’t see Derek or Dex and I’m exposed when about a dozen pairs of eyes turn toward me.
I finally spot Derek who smiles and announces, “Uh, ladies and gentlemen, I’d like to introduce you to Aryn Becker.” He waves me toward him and somehow I find my feet and walk toward him. “He’s a friend of mine and Sir Dex.” I find his title for Dex odd, and I wonder why he is addressing him as such, but I don’t say anything about it. I vow to ask Dex and I am wishing I had a drink in my hand.
I am met with murmurs of hellos from the Tops around the room.
“I’m happy to report that Aryn is now the newest member of The Box,” a gentleman I don’t know says and those hellos and murmurs get a little louder, a little more confident. The gentleman who announced my membership steps forward, taking my hand. “I am Master Orik, owner of The Box. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Aryn.”
I shake his hand. “The pleasure is mine, Master Orik.” I give him a smile and he returns one to me.
“Allow us to make some introductions, shall we?” Derek asks Master Orik.
“Certainly.” As soon as he says this, there is a silent command and the submissives that were on the floor, rise to stand slightly behind their Tops.
“We don’t expect you to remember everyone, but,” Derek gestures to Orik.
“This is my partner, Cherry.” Master Orik gestures to a vibrant beauty at his side.
    “Hello Aryn,” she says softly.
    “Hello…”

This continues for a few moments, Tops introducing themselves with their respective titles and then their submissive at their side.
Then we come to a cute black-haired female who seeks some type of permission from Master Orik and he nods at her in encouragement. “I’m Diamond. It’s a pleasure to meet you, Sir.” She gives me a small smile before lowering her head. The gentleman standing next to her gives her a satisfied smile.
“Aryn, I’m Master Caden.” He is the first one to step forward, coming to me to shake my hand, but before he manages to reach me, I see a look in his eyes, one that I’ve seen from Derek, Dex and many of the other Tops I’ve already met. The same look they have when they address their submissive and I find myself weak in the knees and I don’t quite understand it.
“Nice to meet you, Master Caden,” I say to him, but I don’t feel all that confident and it doesn’t go unnoticed by Master Caden. I suddenly feel like I’ve done something wrong and I cannot explain why I feel that way. Regardless, Master Caden returns to where he was standing, a pleasant smile on his lips but he introduces no one. He’s unattached and I find myself curious as to why that is. He’s not at all unattractive. In fact, he’s bordering on gorgeous, if another man can be gorgeous from a straight man’s point of view. If I were a self-conscious person, I would feel inadequate next to him.
The introductions continue around the circle and no, I will not remember all of these names, but that’s okay. I’m pretty sure I don’t have to. I understand why Master Sara was skeptical of me, but by the time we got to her in the introductions, she was pleasant again. I guess my vetting really made a difference, but what surprised me the most was her submissive. A very cute, short, blonde-haired female sat at her feet and I found that very odd, but only because I didn’t see that coming. At least not after she’d busted my balls in her store.

After the introductions were over, I turn toward Derek and Master Orik with a smile on my face.
    “How you doing?” Derek asks.
I snort. “I feel like a deer in the headlights.”
Master Orik chuckles, “It’s a bit overwhelming isn’t it?”
I nod. “It is, but I imagine I’ll get more comfortable as
