Chris that she had a great time and that he was excellent in bed, but that she was just looking for a one-time thing. Plus she was worried about losing her job if she smoked weed too much or was randomly tested.
"Corporate life's a bitch, Baby. Thanks for the good time though," Chris said and then he drove away. Alyssa happily returned to her apartment. Tonight had been just what she needed to let go of all of her recent troubles.
Chapter Eight: European Delight
The morning after Alyssa had her date with Chris she had a message from Aaron Searly, the cute surfer boy from England. His message basically stated that he would only be in the United States for about three weeks and that he was looking for someone to keep him company while he was caring for his mother. He indicated that since he was leaving soon, he was only looking for a little casual dating and nothing serious. He also mentioned that there wasn't enough of an age difference for it to be an issue and that he would be honored to take Alyssa out on a date. Alyssa was thrilled, since the English guy was really cute and she kind of liked the idea of hooking up with a foreigner. Alyssa wrote back that she would love to spend some time with him while he was in New York and that she was glad that the age difference wasn't a problem. Then she clicked send and hoped that he would get back to her.
A few hours later Alyssa received an instant message from Aaron asking her if she wanted to see a movie and maybe grab some pizza. Alyssa was online at the time and so she responded right away. Before she knew it she was getting ready for a date that would happen in about an hour. Alyssa grabbed a really quick shower and got dressed as quickly as she could. She wanted to make sure that she was ready before Aaron arrived. As it turns out, she was ready just in time and Aaron knocked on her door at the exact time he told her he would be there. His timing was so precise that Alyssa hoped that he hadn't been waiting outside. When Alyssa opened the door, Aaron presented her with a bouquet of fresh flowers. Alyssa was surprised by the gesture, as she had never had a guy bring flowers on a first date before. It was terribly romantic and Alyssa had to remind herself not to fall for this guy because he was leaving in a little less than three weeks.
"You look positively lovely. Thank you so much for accompanying me this evening," Aaron said with his alluring British accent.
"Thank you for inviting me," Alyssa replied.
Aaron took her to see a romantic comedy and Alyssa couldn't help but wonder if he was just trying really hard to get into her panties. None of the American guys she ever dated would have gone for that kind of a movie, but Aaron allowed her to choose and he did not protest nor even roll his eyes when she had suggested the sappy love story. Instead he told her that he had heard good things about the film. For a second Alyssa hoped he wasn't gay, since she was hoping to have a little fun with him before he made his way back across the pond.
After the movie Aaron wanted to take Alyssa to a small pizzeria that was near his mother's apartment. He told her that he had been frequenting the place since he came to help his mother. He said that it had real authentic Italian food and that it reminded him of a place he used to go to in Rome. Alyssa was impressed by how worldly he was, even though she knew that a trip to Italy was a lot shorter from England than it was from New York. Still it seemed so exciting and exotic that Alyssa couldn't help but ask him a ton of questions about Europe. Aaron didn't seem to mind though; in fact he seemed quite pleased that she had taken such an interest in his homeland. He was clearly proud to be English and he spoke very highly of Europe in general. He made it sound so wonderful that Alyssa hoped she could visit it someday.
When they got to the pizza shop, Alyssa was overwhelmed by
