company as a matter of federal law.”
“That’s crazy! Every private company’s liable for the integrity of the products and services they provide to us!” I exclaimed.
She just shook her head no, “There protected against everything. They have no oversight over them whatsoever. They could fill the syringes with IV solution and no one could say anything about it or much less know that it was even happening. In fact I wish they would do just that.”
“But they pay out huge sums of money all the time! I’ve read about it.” I said.
She nodded, “The vaccination companies have a one billion dollar plus fund that they pay out of. The payouts are entirely voluntary on their part and amount to little more than a publicity stunt to curry public favor and hush up the victim’s families.”
    “Did they offer you money?”
    She nodded, “107 million dollars.”
    I blinked.
“Yes it’s a lot of money and if I’d taken it things would have been a lot easier, but my son doesn’t have a price tag on his head! I won’t accept anything, but justice for the wrong done to my son and I would be a poor excuse of a person if I just idly stood by and accepted the pay off, while other people’s kids fell prey to the same fate as my own son! I devoted what time I had when I wasn’t working or with Kevin to advocating against these unjust practices. I’ve spoken at seminars at private gatherings and fundraisers. I’ve formed websites listing all the resources and fact data that I and others could find. I have a string of blogs that I manage. I’ve gotten a reliable following going and combining some other interested organizations we got enough signatures for a petition to Congress. In roughly three months we’re scheduled to make an appearance on the House floor, primarily to address taking the federal protection off of the vaccination companies and install stricter oversight and accountability over them. As a side issue we were also going to request that doctors better inform their patients as to the risks of vaccines and that schools be opened up to non-vaccinated kids. It was a real bright spot in our fight. We thought it was the turning of the tide just like what happened in Great Britain. Enough knowledge got out as to what was going on and reforms were issued because of the intense public outcry. As a result very few vaccines are even still administered in Great Britain and some have been banned from use entirely. Italy’s courts just ruled that the MMR vaccine is responsible for causing autism and has set up protocols by which vaccination companies can be sued. We were hoping that would be the USA in a couple of years.”
Anna looked down at the floor.
“Now I’ll be the only one presenting our case before Congress.”
    “What happened?” I asked.
“There were five of us. Three months ago Kim died suddenly; the doctor said it was a pulmonary embolism. Several weeks ago Susan along with her whole family were in a hit-and-run car accident. She and two of her children were killed instantly. Three weeks ago the other two members of the group came to me and said they couldn’t participate any longer. All of them within the course of a week had one of their children picked up from school by unknown entities. The kids were dropped off several blocks from their home two hours later unharmed, but the message was clear.”
“What did they do to you?”
“At first I got a letter doubling my offer of the hundred and seven million dollars. I didn’t respond and then I started getting threatening letters. All of us did. I woke up one morning and went to check on Kevin. He was still asleep on his bed. On the pillow beside him was a plastic container with a live scorpion in it. I wanted to stop, trust me! I’m not Superman! I’m like everybody else out there! I just want to live and enjoy my life, but I want my son to enjoy his life to! Because of what happened to him I’m not even sure that he knows what
