you to think carefully about your options. The rules will be the same. Do you remember your words?”
    “Yes, Master,” I answered him.
“Can we give her a butt plug tonight?” Wesley chimed in. Eric and I both glanced at him, standing there inspecting a rather intimidating plug made of glass. It had a small tip with a bulbous middle that gave me a shudder. “This one looks pretty.”
“She’ll have to earn one later, just like her collar,” Eric replied, standing. He reached above and pulled down a chain dangling from the ceiling. It ran the length of the room and wrapped around a crankshaft in the corner.
“Wesley, please bring me the rope.”
Wesley brought Eric a thick black rope wound tight in his fist.
“Present me your hands,” Eric ordered. I held my hands together as he bound my arms tight. The rope was snug, circled around my wrists several times and then wrapped in the middle for added protection. He had me test the binds, to make sure my hands wouldn’t slip out. Once satisfied, I was brought to my feet and Eric pulled the chain down lower. He attached a hook that fit around the ties and into one of the links in the chain. My gaze was on him the entire time he walked away to the crank. Slowly, he turned the wheel and my arms were lifted higher with each loud click of the machine. My heart began to race wildly with fear. My escape could only happen now if I shouted the word red. I couldn’t use my legs to run, because the tips of my toes barely touched the floor. Eric locked the chains in place and then fitting his hands into his pant pockets, slowly walked back toward me.
A set of hands startled me as they brushed through my hair from behind. Wesley was close enough to my backside for me to feel the warmth of his body heat my cooling skin. He tied my hair up into a loose bun and then his warmth was gone.
“Tell me what you’re feeling right now, Alexandra,” Eric asked, stepping close enough that our noses could touch if he wanted them too.
“I’m nervous, helpless and alert, Master,” I answered him truthfully.
He nodded his head. “That’s good. I’m glad you’re being honest with me. But are you afraid?”
    I shook my head.
“No? And why aren’t you afraid, Alexandra?”
“Because I trust you,” I admitted bashfully and lowered my lashes. He once again brought my head back up with a hook of his finger under my chin, forcing me to look at him. I had to trust him; there was no other way. My well-being was in Eric’s hands, and we both knew it.
“That’s very nice to hear,” he cooed, “and now I want you to test that trust with me. I want you to give me everything you are tonight.”
He didn’t need a response. He knew what I would say. Eric smoothed his thumb across my lips, stirring me to drop a small kiss to the pad of his finger. He broke away and stepped around me, out of sight. When all I could see was the blank wall in front of me, I started to feel uncomfortable.
“Y-yellow,” I called out and the moment the word was passing from my mouth, Eric’s hands touched my waist and pulled me up against his body.
“What’s the matter?” he asked me gently, whispering in my ear.
“I-I don’t like not seeing you. I don’t like not knowing what you’re going to do,” I admitted, my voice shaking.
“But I thought you trusted me?”
I did trust him, I kept repeating to myself, or so I thought.
“If you don’t trust me, Alexandra, we can stop here and–”
“No!” I blurted out and then there was a hard strike of his hand coming down on my ass, causing a sting.
“Don’t ever interrupt me,” he warned.
“Yes, Sir,” I tried to say with a scattered mind. “I’m sorry, yes, Master.”
His hand lingered on my backside a few more seconds, squeezing my skin painfully, causing me to grit my teeth.
“Now, I’m going to get back to work, right behind you. I’m not going anywhere,” he explained calmly. Eric released me and I went back to staring
