barely knew—could exert so much control over him without even trying.
But it could be fun , his inner hedonist whispered. Just think of it. Sommer dominating you. Controlling you. I bet he could make you come with nothing but his voice.
The mental picture was too damn tempting. Dean cleared his throat and blinked away the fog of desire blurring his vision. He cringed inwardly at Kerry’s suspicious stare and Ron’s knowing smirk. “Um. Okay. Well. The camera’s set up in the kitchen, it’ll run all night, and, uh, well, I guess we’ll come back and do more investigating Thursday night.”
“That sounds good,” Sommer said, sounding infuriatingly calm. “Ron, Kerry, I hope you don’t mind if Dean stays with me again tonight. I’ll drive him home in the morning, along with all the equipment. I wish I could help y’all review the evidence, but I’ll be too busy tomorrow.”
Kerry sighed. “Fine. Y’all just make sure you actually sleep at some point. Otherwise neither of you’ll be any good for what you need to do tomorrow.”
Dean couldn’t answer. Sommer’s hand had slid down his back, one finger dipping below the waist of his jeans to caress bare skin, and Dean felt as if all the blood in his body had gone zooming into his crotch. He swallowed.
Snickering, Ron stood. “Come on, babe. Let’s head on home. You need to get some rest after running all over the house all night.”
“I’m fine,” she protested as Ron took her hands and tugged her to her feet. “Dr. Chavez said I can still do everything I normally do, I don’t need any extra rest.”
“Okay, well, it’s late and I have to work in the morning.”
“But, Ron—”
Ron silenced her with a kiss. “Kerry. Unless you want to watch Dean and Sommer fuck, we really need to go.”
“Oh, God,” Sommer muttered, covering his face with the hand which had previously been worming its way down between Dean’s butt cheeks.
“Okay, okay.” Kerry giggled. “Not that I wouldn’t give a limb to watch, guys, but yeah, I think we’ll just leave now.”
Jumping up, Sommer followed Ron and Kerry to the door. “Thank you both for helping out tonight.”
“It was fun.” Ron clapped Sommer on the shoulder. “’Night, Sommer.” He leaned sideways and grinned at Dean. “’Night, Dean.”
Dean managed a smile and a wave. “See y’all tomorrow.”
As soon as Ron and Kerry left, Sommer turned and pinned Dean with a smoldering look. Dean watched, pulse racing, as Sommer stalked toward him across the room. God, but the man was too sexy for his own good. Dean wished his legs would work so he could get up, tackle Sommer to the floor and ravish him.
When Sommer reached Dean’s chair, he fisted a hand in Dean’s hair, bent and kissed him hard. Dean opened wide for Sommer’s tongue. By the time Sommer broke the kiss, Dean felt weak and dizzy. He stared into Sommer’s face from inches away, wishing he could make his voice work.
Sommer growled, his hand still clenched in Dean’s hair and lust blazing in his eyes. “Take your clothes off.”
Dean went straight for the buttons on his shirt. He couldn’t remember why he’d even worn something with buttons in the first place. He’d known all along—or hoped, at least—that the night would include sex. Yet he’d worn the snug green Oxford-style silk instead of an easy-to-remove sweater, just because it emphasized the lean muscles in his back.
Right now, it hardly seemed like a worthwhile trade.
He let out a frustrated mewl when his shaking fingers slipped for the third time. Undressing was going to take forever at this rate.
Before he could get his brain functioning well enough to ask for help, Sommer balled the hem of Dean’s shirt in both hands and pulled the whole thing over his head. Dean heard the fabric rip. A button bounced off his lap and onto the floor.
“Sorry,” Sommer mumbled, hauling Dean to his feet and crushing their bodies together.
“’S okay.” Dean arched his neck so Sommer
