KEVIN MARKEY vividly remembers his first hit. The ball sailed over the third baseman, deftly eluded two converging outfielders, and scampered like a jackrabbit nearly all the way to the woods at the edge of the park. The thrill was such he almost forgot to run.
A graduate of Georgetown University, Kevin is the author of SLUMPBUSTER , the hilarious first book in his Super Sluggers series of baseball adventures, and several books of nonfiction.
