The Rules
of the unmasked desire in her eyes.
    “Yes. I’m wet.”
    They lunged at each other.
Gavin devoured her. That was the only way to describe the out of control way he fastened his mouth over hers in a hot demanding kiss. His groin felt heavy and weighted with need. He dragged his hands up and down her back, shaping the curve of her spine, and shoved a hand under the dress to squeeze her bare bottom and anchor her to him by the hips. The jut of his arousal pressed against his zipper, eager and anxious to have her again. Opening her moist mouth under his, she allowed him to drink the nectar of her sweet sensuality like a thirsty, dying man would.
Desire pumped strong in his blood as the fire between them raged out of control. He shoved papers out of the way and several fluttered to the floor as he lifted her onto the desk. He tasted the flavor of her skin, pressing his mouth to the little crater in the middle of her neck where her rapid pulse steadily hammered a beat.
Gavin dragged the edges of the loose bodice aside to get at her breasts. The beautiful caramel mounds sat perfectly in his hands, overflowing from his palms while he showered them with kisses. Each dark nipple pouted so prettily in anticipation of his mouth that he spent a little extra time caressing them, licking them, sucking them. All the while, Terri moaned her pleasure and bent backwards, encouraging the workings of his mouth.
Gavin unhooked his belt. He hadn’t planned on sex tonight, but moved quickly, unable and unwilling to stop the mad rush to ecstasy needed to satisfy the hard throb of his erection.
Terri tugged at her thong with her thumbs, wiggling on the desk until it dropped to the floor. Right after he put on the condom, she lifted her legs around his waist without prompting. Then he was inside of her. Knees weakening at the warm wet texture surrounding him. He cursed violently, taut fingers gripping the tender flesh of her thighs. She felt too good. He didn’t think he could last very long.
She balanced on the edge of the desk, one arm around his neck, the other firmly planted on the wooden surface. Each thrust took an inordinate amount of effort to control his natural inclination to explode in her slick channel. Over and over, his hard flesh sank into her wet sex. He made her groan. He made her gasp. And when the orgasm hit, she tossed back her head and let loose a keening cry—a high-pitched scream that could easily be heard by anyone loitering in the hallway.
Gavin, at almost the exact moment her muscles spasmed around him, unleashed his come in a violent shudder that forced a burst of air from his lungs and a low, long grunt of satisfaction from his throat.
Clinging to each other in the aftermath, several long minutes passed before they each caught their breath and slowly pulled apart. Gavin took a good hard look at Terri. She leaned back on both hands, legs still spread apart, the hem of her dress pushed up around her hips. Her large caramel breasts were exposed—their dusky tips still hard—with the necklaces settled between them. She looked like every man’s wet dream.
He picked up her thong, nothing more than two pieces of string and a thatch of cloth. Terri extended her hand to accept it, but Gavin shook his head. Lifting it to his nose, he inhaled the heady scent of her feminine musk.
Terri’s eyes darkened. “Can I have my underwear, please?”
Stuffing the lingerie in his pocket, he said, “You’ll get it the next time I see you.”
    “Which is when?” she demanded.
His mouth lifted into a sideways smile. “Tomorrow.”

Chapter Twelve
Gavin crossed the mahogany floors of his rented house and stepped onto the balcony to escape the raucous party inside for a few minutes. He rubbed a hand across his throbbing head. His friends had invited a bunch of women and other hangers-on over for a party. Loud talking, laughter, and alcohol filled almost every room on the second floor. He’d been there all of thirty minutes
