thinking that the little stunt she pulled earlier on me was clever. How she just going to let me give her the best orgasm that she ever had in her life, then give me blue balls in return for my favor. That shit fucked me up, but I couldn’t be mad at her; she was only trying to make me feel how she felt earlier. I didn’t see that coming and I knew I needed to do a better job of considering her. At the end of the day, I knew Legacy was hurt because we never hid anything from one another; I just really didn’t want to hear her bitching and complaining about what I should have done differently. Although I was stressing about everything, I figured that as usual, we’d get back on the same page. At the moment, though, I had the feeling that she wouldn’t be coming back anytime soon.
Legacy was straight tripping, so I was relieved when she left out of the house. I waited until she pulled off before I left so that I would have a minute to think and clear my mind before I was around her again. I drove in silence because my mind shifted all over the place. I stopped by the gas station before I went to the trap. Less than 15 minutes later I arrived and noticed that everybody’s cars were present except Kortez and Alisha. Anxiety suddenly ran through my entire body.
I didn’t know what was going on, but I had a feeling that something horrendous had happened. Parking my car behind Legacy, I hopped out and walked to the door. As I turned the door knob, Javon opened up the door for me. Everyone greeted me before heading back to their seats at the round table, where we held our meetings.
Davion was the person that informed us all that there was a code red so it was his job to assemble and adjourn the meeting. Davion stood up and all eyes were on him. “As you all know, a code red has been issued. Kortez called me to let me know that he was being pulled over by the police, and that he had a few keys on him. We all know the drill. If one of us gets caught, there is a chance that we all could be caught up,” Davion shrugged his shoulders as he continued. “There are things that we have to sacrifice. And I know that none of us are snitches, and that real mother fuckers don’t fold, but in this case, Kortez is looking at some Fed time, so they are going to come at him with everything they have. That being the case, there is a possible chance that we could all be suspects. They may try to break us. They may try to get us to turn on each other. They may try to raid our spots. And they may even cease our funds. We know that they can’t search our shit without probable cause, but they don’t play fair at all. We must always stay ten steps ahead. Anyone have any questions?”
We all stared at each other. I needed to know more so I made it my business to be the first person to ask questions. “How long has it been since you last spoke with him and have any charges been made?”
“It has been three hours since he last hit me from jail. I spoke with my home girl who works down there, but she let me know that she would call me back because Alisha was calling her on her other end when we were on the phone. We ended the call and I’m still waiting on her to hit me back.”
“ Has either one of you talked to Alisha?” I looked at Makayla and Legacy. Legacy was still mad at me so she looked at me and rolled her eyes, shaking her head no. Makayla also shook her head no.
“Damn, this shit is crazy as fuck. Today has been a rough day for us all I see. But this is the way the game go,” Javon stated. I just gave him a look because he hadn’t been through shit.
“We all had a long day. This all comes with the territory. We must get rid of all this evidence. All this dope and cash we have stashed up in this house has to be moved now. This safe house is not safe anymore because if the feds are watching they will check our phones to see where we been, who we been with and how long we
