frantic by the cursing under her breath.
“Looks like you probably have about fifteen minutes or so Drake,” I laugh apologetically. “Do you want something to drink?”
He smiles warmly. “Sure, but I can get it,” he offers walking to the kitchen and opening the fridge for a bottle of water, handing me one.
“I’m just hanging out in the living room. Come on in,” I say walking back into the living room and taking my seat on the couch. Drake sits opposite me, his black hair artfully styled coinciding nicely with the fitted black button up he’s wearing. “So what do you two have planned for tonight?”
“Oh, I don’t really know. I thought we might have dinner and maybe see a movie. Typical date stuff I guess,” he laughs. “You’re welcome to join us, you know.” I can see the sincerity in his eyes but I would never intrude like that. Before I can tell him as much though, Ana answers for me.
“No you aren’t!” We hear Ana be llow loudly from her room, making us both chuckle again.
“N o thank you. I’m fine hanging out here. I would never intrude on your date night,” I smile. “I’m not that desperate Drake!” I say feigning offense.
“O h no! I didn’t…“ Concern flashes in his bulging eyes and he throws his hands up in surrender.
“Relax! I’m kidding! It’s a sweet offer but I’m okay. Thank you.”
He laughs , wiping his hand across his brow in a theatrical sigh of relief when I notice him eyeing Jack’s guitar sitting against the couch. Shit! I forgot I’d left it out . I hope he won’t mention it.
“Do you play?” he says, pointing at the guitar.
    Crap.
“A little but I’m not very good,” I lie. His features are laced with suspicion as he nods.
“I always wanted to learn but I’m a bit impatient so I never took the time to pick it up. I have a lot of r espect for musicians though,” he says and I smile. As I sit struggling to come up with something to change the subject to, Ana saves me by walking out of her room. She looks beautiful as ever in a short, black leather mini skirt, a bright top with the back cut out and her favorite heels.
“Hey , Babe,” she says, greeting him with a smile. “I’m sorry to keep you waiting. You ready?” she asks Drake as she kisses him. His hands float to her almost instantly.
“Analise, my knockout. Y ou are always worth the wait,” he pauses to kiss her again and gives her another admiring smile. “I’m ready whenever you are, Baby.”
“Okay, let’s get going then. Soph, you have a good night, oka y? Call if you need me,” she says with a wink, mouthing “only if you really need me ,” over her shoulder, causing me to laugh again.
“Bye. Y ’all have fun and drive safe. It was nice to see you Drake,” I say.
“Good to see you too Sophie,” he says with a smile. As they approach the door, he glances back in my direction. “Chase isn’t doing anything tonight if you want to give him a call,” he gives me a knowing wink and pulls the door shut. For a moment, I stand there with my mouth hanging wide open like an idiot.

    Drake

When Ana walk s out of her room I am stunned. I know the woman is beautiful but holy hell! Tonight, she’s simply ravishing. She wears her long dark hair down in soft curls that complement her gorgeous grey eyes. I can see a hint of makeup, giving them a smoldering look. She’s wearing a short, black leather mini skirt and a colorful top with heels that make her legs run on for days.
It’ s taking everything in me to not throw her down on the couch and take her right there, but I have to keep my composure. Not that I think she’d mind, but Sophie might have. I can’t keep my hands off her completely though so as soon as she’s within reach, I pull her closer.
I can tell by the shocked look on Sophie’s face when I suggest she call Chase that she’d already been thinking about him. I shouldn’t mess with the girl, but it’s just so easy to get her riled up
