had been pushed sideways, making me wonder if he always kept them on during sex. It occurred to me I hadn’t actually kissed either of them yet. Shame, because I’d always loved snogging.
When Rai came up for air, I hooked my arm around his neck and pulled him close, landing a smacker on his lips. His shoulders tensed, but I kissed him again, the heady afterglow making me bold. Rai didn’t respond, and I was about to pull away when he made a questioning sound in his throat. All of a sudden his lips pursed up under mine and then he was kissing me back, almost chastely at first, but it didn’t stay that way for long. Rai “Octopus-Hands” Nakamura was as enthusiastic a kisser as he was a groper and cocksucker, and my mouth was subjected to a full-on assault by his tongue. I’d never kissed a guy who wore specs before, but I didn’t mind the way they dug into my cheek as it reminded me that this was Rai.
I felt rather than heard Evan’s needy moan, and then his arm came around my back to hold me close. I couldn’t be much closer than lying on his slippery chest, but hey, the squeezing felt good. It felt even better when he reached down and gave my tender arse a gentle pat. Bright spots of pain danced behind my eyelids, but I felt alive. One-hundred percent, deliciously alive.
Rai pulled back from the kiss, an unfathomable expression in his dark eyes. Was it worry? Shit, I didn’t want it to be worry.
“Can I kiss Josh too?” Evan asked hesitantly.
Rai blinked and appeared to take a moment to think about it. “I…um…yes. Okay. I think you probably should.” He sounded shocked—like I’d just blown his world apart. I didn’t think I was that good a kisser, so what the hell was going on here? Evan and Rai shared a significant gaze, and something passed between them, charging the air with electricity.
But before I could feel too left out, Evan’s hand slid up my back and landed on my neck. He eased me down to him ever so gently, and then our lips met in the softest of kisses. I didn’t get slipped the tongue by Evan, but his goatee prickled my skin, and his lips were beautifully responsive. He nibbled at my lower lip in a way that would have had me raring to go if I hadn’t been exhausted.
When Evan broke the kiss and I opened my eyes, it was to a look of bewildered wonder on Evan’s face. He gazed at me for a heartbeat, then turned to Rai. They did that silent talking thing again, and I suddenly felt terribly alone. I began to push myself up, muttering something about getting cleaned up before we got stuck together.
“No, not yet.” Evan’s grip held me to him, and I flopped back down again. “That was…that wasn’t summat we’ve ever done before. I think we need to talk about it.”
“I thought you’d had loads of three-ways,” I grumbled. He couldn’t mean the spanking, could he?
“Not that.” Rai waved his hand, a frown momentarily creasing his brow. “The kissing.”
“You’ve kissed before.” I’d seen them doing it on this very sofa.
Rai rolled his eyes. “Of course we have, but not with anyone else. Not since we’ve been together.”
“You mean you…you don’t kiss the guys you swing with?”
“We just broke our rules,” Evan said. “In a big way.”
“I should go.” I didn’t want to be part of a domestic, and this was all getting a bit weird. “It’s been great, but I really should—”
“Stay.” Evan’s hand insisted just as emphatically as his voice. “This is what we do. We talk about important stuff like this as and when it comes up. Now, I really enjoyed kissing you, but if we’re going to do this again, we need to sort out ground rules. Together.”
Ground rules. Right. And those were the things that had made me feel safe doing this earlier, I reminded myself. “Okay, well, why don’t the two of you hammer them out while I go find a flannel?” I could feel my dick slipping out of Evan as I spoke, and I didn’t particularly relish the
