into the parking lot at Night, the only bar in town. She scanned the vehicles for Sharon’s car and spotted it, happy she wasn’t the first one of the group to show up. She looked in the rearview mirror and reapplied her bright red lipstick, her nervousness causing her hand to shake. Though she couldn’t understand the root of her anxiety. It was one night…one night…a few hours at most. A chance to mingle and relieve some stress, which was all she really needed.
All she really had time for.
Sharon was the first person she saw as she entered the door, propped up against the bar waiting for a drink. Kayla had never seen her in a skirt, especially one that barely covered her ass. She walked over to Sharon and tapped her shoulder. “Hey.”
Sharon turned around, her dark blonde hair flowed over her shoulders, and the way her makeup was done made her usual hazel eyes look green. “Well, holy shit! You made it!” Sharon shouted over the loud music echoing off the walls from the band. She looked Kayla over. “And look at how hot you are. Turn around and let me see your ass in those tight pants.” She puffed on her cigarette and spun Kayla around.
Kayla felt her cheeks heat up with embarrassment. “Is my outfit too much?”
“No way. If I were a guy, I would try to fuck you.” She laughed, grabbing her pink drink from the bartender and taking a sip. “We’ve got a table in the back corner. What are you drinking? You better order it before we get back there. The waitresses in this place mostly cater to the men. You know…bigger tips,” she scoffed. “Or so they seem to think.”
“I’m not sure, I hardly ever drink.” Kayla inspected the liquor bottles shelved against the wall behind the counter.
“I know what you need.” Sharon leaned over the bar, motioning for the bartender. He spotted her and came right over. Kayla’s eyes grew wide as she studied how his tight white shirt molded to his slender, fit torso.
“Gannon, be a gem and get my friend here two shots of tequila,” Sharon said, nodding her head toward Kayla.
“And a beer,” Kayla added, knowing she would need something to chase the shots. She wasn’t sure about the tequila, and she wasn’t sure about mixing her alcohol but shrugged it off. It was her first time going out since…well, she couldn’t remember when, so she decided to make the best of it.
“Sure thing,” he said as his gaze trailed from her eyes to her neck to her breasts, and Kayla wasn’t certain if he meant ‘sure thing, coming right up’ or ‘sure thing, this girl is out tonight for the sole purpose of getting pounded’. But she liked the way he couldn’t take his eyes off her tits. “What’s your name?” he asked, setting the shots in front of her.
Before the liquid was able to settle, she turned one up and found herself coughing as it burned her throat.
“Kayla,” she answered, leaning in so she wouldn’t have to shout to be heard over the music.
“Virgin?” he asked and placed her beer in front of her. His hands looked strong. Thick fingers, just the right amount of vein puffing up under his tan skin.
“Excuse me?” she asked, and turned the bottle up and washed out the sting of tequila.
“Did I just witness your first time shooting tequila?”
“No,” she lied. “Why would you ask that?”
“Here…” He poured two more shots then placed a couple of lime wedges on a napkin in front of her, along with a shaker of salt. “Try it like this.”
Kayla followed his every move as he licked the skin between his index finger and thumb, doused it with salt, licked it off, turned up the mini glass, and then bit into the lime.
She smiled and took the other shot exactly the way he showed her. A good kind of burn filled her chest as the liquid made its way to her stomach.
“Better, no?” Friendly laughter spilled over his lips. “Is this your first time here?”
“Yes, it’s her first time here,” Sharon interrupted and grabbed
