that the corner of her towel was wedged in the door. The move ripped the towel away from her body, before she could catch it, leaving her naked .
Hades' expression morphed from outrage to shock to desire in less time than it took her to gasp. Taylor turned and lunged for her towel. She tugged hard, but the material wouldn't budge. She covered herself with her hand, while she attempted to open the door. She hadn't heard Hades move, but she sensed the instant he was standing behind her. The raw heat from his body hit her like a volcanic eruption, making her melt inside.
"Please leave it," he murmured in her ear. His warm breath teased the shell-like flesh and she quivered.
Taylor didn't think the word 'please' left the Dark King's mouth often. That more than anything else stopped her.
Hades' hands shook as they gently touched her bare shoulders and slowly turned her to face him. The red rings had returned to his eyes, nearly swallowing the blue. "I tried." He sounded ashamed. "You have no idea how hard I tried not to touch you." His mouth nuzzled her neck. "But I'm not strong enough. I need…I want..."
    She wanted, too.
Taylor closed her eyes as the heat of his lips scorched her, leaving gooseflesh in its wake. Her traitorous body responded despite her resolve to change old behaviors. The release she'd found while fantasizing about Hades last night was still fresh in her mind. What would it feel like to really have his hands exploring her body? His mouth tasting her hidden places? His shaft touching her soul?
She rose onto her toes, seeking his warmth, wanting his kiss, even though he’d never belong to her. Their lips met tentatively, a quick touch, an exchange of breaths. It wasn't enough. Not nearly enough. His sensuous mouth tempted her, demanded that she take more.
Taylor reached for his neck and sank her hands into his thick hair. The strands were soft as silk as she threaded her fingers deeper, so she could pull him closer. The first press of his muscles made her weak in the knees. Hades groaned and his grip on her tightened. The embrace went from innocent exploration to inferno. Their tongues greeted, then began to dance.
Taylor's body went up in flames as Hades yanked her against his hard length. One hand rose, winding its way into her long, red hair. His fingers tangled, then pulled gently. He held her exactly where he wanted her and deepened the kiss. This time Taylor moaned.
The Dark King could kiss. She'd give him that.
He explored her mouth with an expertise that only made her long for more. Taylor pulled at his clothing. How did this darn thing open? Last night, he'd made it look so easy. The thought gave rise to bitter memories. Taylor jerked her head back. They shouldn't be doing this.
"No! Do not pull away." Hades refused to let her go. He growled and sought her lips once more. By the time he finished kissing her, Taylor was boneless and he’d managed to change her mind, but only because she’d let him.
"Take this off," she said, weakly tugging at his clothes.
Hades complied instantly. One second his clothes were there, the next they were gone.
"How did you?" She glanced at the floor, but his clothing was nowhere in sight.
"Later." Hades took her hand and led her into another room that held a massive bed made up of a pile of furs that would've given animal right's activists an apoplexy. The furs were stacked over three feet high and ten feet wide and took up most of the room. Hades didn't give Taylor time to look around. He picked her up and carried her over to the furs and gently laid her down.
Taylor expected him to follow, to immediately thrust inside of her like he had Opal, but he didn't. He simply stared at her like he'd never seen a woman before. The intensity of his gaze made her nervous. "Hades?"
"Let me look at you. Smell your delicious fragrance. Savor this moment." The Dark King looked pained as he stared down at her. The longing in his eyes seared her soul.
    A dangerous feeling
