about such illegal activities, Jo decided to keep this to herself. ‘What do you know about the Pentagon Temping Agency?’ she asked suddenly.
Nick studied her warily. ‘The Pentagon Temping Agency,’ he repeated slowly. He studied her curious face with measured concern. ‘Stay away from them, Jo,’ he warned her softly. ‘You’re out of your depth. Drop the case and forget you ever heard of them.’
Jo smiled uncertainly. ‘Are you kidding?’
She and Nick had been lovers for two years and, in that time, Jo had come to believe she knew him as well as she knew any person. Studying the earnest frown on his face and the solemn line of his jaw, she wondered if he had a talent for practical joking she had previously overlooked. ‘Come on,’ she insisted, playfully. ‘Tell me you’re kidding. What’s the joke?’
Nick shook his head. ‘No joke,’ he said solemnly. ‘They’re dangerous, Jo. Dangerous and apparently untouchable.’
Jo considered him carefully and tried to weigh up her options. If she pushed Nick on this subject she knew, from past experience, he would simply refuse to acknowledge the topic and she would get no information from him at all. Playing her hand carefully, she said, ‘I suppose that’s good in a way. Less talk about business leaves more time for us to enjoy one another.’
His smile was distrustful. ‘I thought you just screwed me so I’d pass on information.’
Jo laughed lightly. ‘It’s never been just for that’, she said. ‘Take me back to your place and let’s see if the old magic is still there.’
Needing no more encouragement, Nick stood up and gallantly offered Jo his arm.
A winter’s night had fallen over the car park, leaving a cool yet clement darkness outside the pub. Jo rubbed herself against Nick as they walked out of the building and was not surprised to feel a bulge inside his trousers. ‘You want me already, don’t you?’ she observed.
‘Of course I do,’ Nick said gruffly. ‘You’re the horniest thing on two legs that I’ve ever known.’
‘Do you want me now?’ Jo asked, her eyes shining excitedly up at him.
‘Of course I do,’ Nick said, puzzled by her question. ‘I just said so, didn’t I?’
‘I mean,’ Jo repeated, rubbing her hand firmly over his straining length. ‘Do you want me now?’
Nick finally understood the meaning of her question when Jo pushed him into a dark alley behind the pub. He was about to say something: a protest as to why respectable police officers could not indulge themselves with their occasional girlfriends in public places. His words were lost when Jo pressed her mouth over his. The kiss was a passionate one, her tongue exploring his mouth as her hands held him close to her. She pressed the flat of her belly against the swell of his stiff cock, relishing the urgency of his arousal. When their mouths parted, her eyes were shining with increased excitement.
‘Do you know what I’ve missed these last few months?’ she asked.
Nick shook his head. ‘No. What?’
    ‘This,’ Jo said quietly.
Regardless of the cool evening and the danger of their being discovered, Jo knelt down in front of Nick, unzipping his pants as she went. Her fingers plunged through the fly of his trousers and she removed his rock-hard dick from his pants.
Feeling the cool night air on his hot length, Nick gasped quietly. He could not believe he was allowing Jo to do this to him. If his desire for her had not been so intense he would have tried to stop her. He bit back a cry of delight when he felt Jo’s lips pressing warmly against the swollen head of his glans.
Enjoying the taste of his cock, Jo allowed her tongue to trace along the huge length of Nick’s member. It was a gorgeous cock. She fondly remembered it as being one of the best she had ever sampled. Nick’s foreskin rolled back beneath the teasing of her tongue, revealing a huge purple end that glistened slickly in the glow of the streetlamp. Greedily, Jo
